the insistence by a good chunk of this website that people who were able to meet the arbitrary benchmarks of the school system and therefore do things like go to recess regularly or like. get given more/better educational opportunities are actually the REAL underprivileged ones deserving of MORE compassion because you know they only managed to meet those benchmarks because a) they were abused or b) they applied themselves (unlike the lazy slobs) is... sure something. like no good penmanship is not innate but consistent struggle with penmanship is a common effect of multiple LDs and other neurological conditions that effect motor skills. like i feel like.... a) it’s not that deep and b) if you didn’t get mad points deducted from you school-work because you struggled with penmanship, shut the hell up about how oppressed you were for your bubble letters.
