And I am trying to get back into writing but brain storming old and new ideas and this is the best I have had so far

So Cas and Crowley are familiars of a young witch, Cas is the crow (angel and wings and flying) and Crowley is the cat (meowley is the love of my life). They both answered her call and while they don't get along they are fond of her and tolerate each other for her sake

There is so much I feel like doing with this, reluctant team up to save their witch, those two learning about each other and actually starting to like the other, something that appals them

Something forces them to take human form and they have to act without suspicion, Cas sucks at it, Crowley is better but not as much as he thinks

Also Juliet as a big but sweet dog that Crowley befriended and follows them along

withc!mumbo and grian, maybe one of the first times mumbo tries walking around as a human ^^ mumbo tends to lean too far foward since he's used to his bird spine paha mumbo's since adjusted perfectly

yeah! familiars have to get used to their human forms, especially if they're adults at the time of the spell. since grian lives alone he was pretty happy to spend some time helping mumbo, but of course very entertaining to watch him fall straight on his face ^^

introducing my hc witch au :) (withc?) it's something I want to develop a bunch, like give the other hermits familiars n stuff ^^ i got some ideas about how grian found mumbo as well SO! take this for now

and by the way! the symbol surrounding the fire spell IS actually the rune for "fire" in my spell notes :D!

Grian the kind of witch to try jumping off the roof of the house the moment he hears that the wings should be capable of flight

I do honestly believe mumbo would have to physically restrain him to keep him from jumping off the roof of the house XD like I'm pretty sure that's canon

yess the withc au!! I think about how grian needs help with his growing wings while Mumbo needs to preen his. Sitting together, reaching around to help comb the feathers

you're right you're right i remember saying before that mumbo underestimates how long it takes to preen his feathers in his human form since he's used to smaller wings in bird form ^^ They really do be helping each other. and I can only imagine grian's excitement when mumbo declares g's wings big enough to allow flight :)

I just had a thought… mumbo probably didnt have a name as a bird. I think the WITCH is generally the one who will name their familiar, maybe with some discussion if necessary. But imagine, mumbo is thrown into his human form for the first time, suddenly capable of language, and he instantly starts rambling on and on about how that spell felt, how weird it is to have fingers, THIS NEW MUSTACHE, how he has feet and how his wings are much bigger- grian, just happy that the spell worked, thinks to himself. Then interrupted him- “I think your name should be Mumbo Jumbo, if you’re going to be talking like that all the time”
