15 years ago, it all started with a thought I had on a few evil characters I wanted to make. Someone who'd want to chase after Dot while all she wants is just to read a book alone without any sounds. My thought was that they would all be soldiers, with their leader killed by Dot, whose scream caused an avalanche on Mt. Everest. On June 23, 2011, I created a wizard named Waldo. Three days later, I felt Waldo shouldn't have all the fun. Thankfully, after learning how well my singing voice mixed with Dot's, I made a group of background singers who would protect Dot (later Yakko, Wakko, and Dot together) from Waldo and all other antagonists from "Animaniacs". That is why, to celebrate 15 years of my "Animaniacs" OCs, I'm going to show you how I'd use my characters in the episode, "Dot's Quiet Time".
The episode starts like normal, but now with a few background singers in the water tower as Dot wakes up and tries to read her book. Dot and her friends become scared after hearing an explosion, with three background singers yelling "OH!", "MY!", and "GOSH!", only to see Yakko and Wakko as soldiers. Yakko playing the cavalry charge on his trumpet catches the ears of Waldo's guards, who already had plans to infiltrate the water tower. The guards come out of hiding as they sing their theme song while marching (The music ends on the 0:29 mark). One background singer shows up just as Dot yells "QUIET!" and thanks her brothers. Background Singer #1 asks Dot about the statues of hot men outside and she tells him to bring them in. But, before the background singers know it, the "statues" come to life. And worst of all, Waldo suddenly appears, much to Dot's horror.
Background Singer #1: Waldo!? (Gets angry and does a pendulum step with his fists up) What brings your wizardry here?
Waldo and his men surrounding her combined with Yakko and Wakko continuing to disrupt Dot makes her start to sing her quiet song and plan her escape.
Dot (Mad): ♪All I want is quiet, no reason to deny it. I can't take that riot.♪
Dot (Angrily yelling at Yakko, Wakko, and Waldo): Quiet! Quiet! QUIET!
Dot (Mad): ♪Let me clarify it, (Covers her ears with pillows) the noise, I can't defy it!♪
♪I simply will not buy it. (Slams her head into the mattress) Give me quiet! Quiet! QUIET!♪
As Dot escapes, the background singers decide to distract Waldo with their hands forming a shadow puppet that looks like Dot escaping through the front door as the real Dot uses a hidden valve to activate the secret elevator and rise to the top of the roof. Waldo, witnessing Dot's shadow leaving calls his men to go after her. So, the guards leave the water tower with Waldo vowing how he'll be back for Yakko and Wakko. Dot and the background singers look down as they see Waldo fly away with the guards singing their chant as they march with their spears and guns in the air. After the background singers ask what they should do now that Waldo's gone, they open their microphone umbrellas and float down as Dot continues her song.
Dot (Mad): ♪(Slides down the water tower) Now to nullify it, I just won't stand by it.♪
♪It's time now to bye-bye it! I want Quiet! Quiet! QUIET!♪
Background Singer #1 (Scared of Dot's anger): Yes, ma'am.
Dot rides her bike into the forest with the background singers in their motorcycles. As soon as they park, we cut to Waldo's guards still marching and singing in another part of the woods until they stop. Waldo angrily asks "Who told you to stop!?" until the general explains that they've been tricked, much to Waldo's dismay. Fortunately, they see Dot coming and Waldo has them hide in bushes or trees. Dot sits down on a blanket she brought with her, but animal noises around her disrupt her from trying to read. Not helping matters is the sounds of rustling leaves from the bushes. The guards freeze every time Dot turns to them, and the background singers start getting more and more frightened the closer the guards get.
(Owl hoots and Background Singer #1 gasps in horror. Dot ducks as the owl flies over her.)
Background Singer #1 (Whispering) (Scared): Walking bushes!
(Dot hears a cricket chirping, which angers her even further.)
(Dot starts to angrily steam up)
The music's rising! I got a bad feeling about all of this!
(Background Singer stops being scared as he looks at Dot angry, with her face all red.)
Background Singer #1 (Annoyed): Uh, hello? Are you even gonna help me out?
(Camera pulls away from Background Singer, revealing a bush behind him.)
Wizard Waldo (From inside his bush): I'll help.
Background Singer #1 (Now scared): (Gasps) TALKING BUSH!
Wizard Waldo (Shouting happily): (Pops out of his bush) Now, boys!
Background Singer #1 (Scared): YIKES!
Dot screams before getting tackled by Waldo's guards. From this, we have a dust cloud battle with Dot and her background singer friends fighting Waldo and his guards until they come out on top.
Wizard Waldo (In pain): (A background singer punches him) I never thought that… (Dot slams her book on his head) I'd be beaten… (Dot slams her book on his head) to a couple of stage performers and a… (Another background singer punches him) little girl!
(Waldo gets punches once more, then gets kicked out of the shot.)
Background Singer #1 (Mad): Get out of here, will ya? All of you, out!
(Waldo's guards get punched off screen and are sent flying. As they hit the ground, the guards pile on top of each other before we cut back to Background Singer #1 yelling at the screen.)
Dot: You've done more than enough, take a break.
(Background Singer notices two more guards crawling away while still in pain)
Background Singer #1 (Mad): (Gasps) YOU'RE NEXT!
(Background Singer runs up to the two guards and grabs them by the back of their heads)
Waldo's Guard (Scared): WHAT!? Please don't slam our heads! We have very fragile skulls!
Dot (Mad): ♪I want quiet! Quiet! QUIET!♪

Background Singer #1: (Desperately) (Dialogue overlapping): Hey, get back here! (Runs after Dot) I wasn't finished!

(Background Singer pants. From the distance, Dot and her background singer friends leave Warner Bros. Studios)
Wizard Waldo: (Sees them leave and smiles) So that's why they got away from me!
Waldo's General: What do you mean?
Wizard Waldo: Don't you see? Dot wants peace and quiet. And that will give us the opportunity to kidnap at least one of the three troublesome Warners.
(Waldo sees the background singers' shoe prints and Dot's bike tire prints)
We'll follow those hooligans everywhere they go, and once they finally have silence, we'll give them the element of surprise.
(Waldo pulls out the keys to one of his guards' helicopters, and the choppers float down and land down by the guards)
Waldo's men get inside their helicopters, with Waldo boarding in one of them, and the helicopters take off as they chase after Dot and her friends.
With Dot and her background singer friends in kilts and dress clothing, they park by the edge of a wall and sit.
Background Singer #1 (Out of energy): I think we lost them. We'll be safe here.
Dot starts to read, only for her and her human friends be scared of the blaring bagpipe music played by Angus MacRory (from the "Looney Tunes" cartoon, "My Bunny Lies over the Sea".) as he passes by. Startled, Background Singer #1 loses his balance and clings his fingers to the edge of the stone wall Dot was sitting on. He screams out for help, only for some of the background singers to just leave with Dot. The others stay behind to help their friend back up, not knowing one of Waldo's guards spying on them while dressed in a Dot costume.
Waldo's Guard dressed as Dot: That's right, Dot. Run away from your boyfriend.
(The guard completes his Dot disguise by putting on the head piece, then we see the other background singers try to pull him up.)
Background Singer #1: Guys, come on! Put your backs into it!
Waldo's Guard dressed as Dot (Trying to sound like Dot): Oh, goodness! I am so sorry. (Sticks his hand out) Did I leave you behind?
Background Singer #1: (Grabs the fake Dot's hand and climbs back up) Well, finally. About time you started remembering me. Though, I'm surprised your mouth don't move when you talk. (Realizes something and gets angry) Wait a minute, you're not Dot!
Waldo's Guard dressed as Dot (Trying to sound like Dot) (Mad): Of course I am! How dare you refuse to accept that I'm your girlfriend!
(Background Singer's hands remove the headpiece, revealing one of Waldo's guards.)
Background Singer #1 (Mad): I knew it!
Waldo's Guard dressed as Dot (Normal voice) (Embarrassed): Um… pay no attention to the guard in this dress. (Gasps at the sight of the other angry background singers)
Background Singer #2 (Mad): My, "Dot". What big lies you have.
Waldo's Guard dressed as Dot (Shouting desperately): Guys, they're on to us!
(The guard dressed as Dot gets beaten up by all the background singers before they get on their motorcycles and go after Dot and the other background singers who left)
Wizard Waldo: Curses! I should've known that background singer couldn't be fooled!
Dot and the background singers enter the Notre Dame cathedral as Waldo spies on them from one of the helicopters in the sky.
(Wizard Waldo now watches from his scepter while standing at the edge of the helicopter)
Wizard Waldo: So those fools are heading off to Notre Dame, eh? Well if it's silence they want, it's silence they'll get!
Waldo's guards grab onto the ropes attached to their helicopters and slide down. Then we cut to Dot and her human friends inside.
Dot (Happy and relaxed): Ah, such peace. Such joy.
Background Singer #1: Yes indeed.
Unfortunately, the bells start to ring, scaring Dot and her bodyguards as she accidentally tears her book in half. Dot's body vibrates from the loud ringing until Waldo's men break through the glass window panes and break into the cathedral.
Background Singer #1 (Mad): What did I just tell you boys?
Waldo's Guard #1 (Mad): You told us nothing! Now come quietly, Dottie!
From that, we cut to outside Notre Dame as Dot and her background singers beat up Waldo's guards off-screen and the guards are thrown out of the cathedral. Once they are defeated, she reminds them to call her "Dottie" and they all die.
When Dot and her background singers arrive in Italy, Dot sits down on a bench and starts to read, with the background singers on sentry duty. Meanwhile, Waldo spies on them from behind the Leaning Tower of Pisa and summons his dragorillas to knock down the tower and make it crush Dot while the background singers aren't looking. The dragorillas fly up to the top and shake the tower hard enough to push it forward. When the tower shatters upon impact, Waldo cheers victoriously and approaches the bench where Dot was. Waldo reaches down and pulls up a plushy of Dot from the debris instead of the real Dot, which Waldo gets frustrated about as he watches Dot and her friends escape. Waldo gets angry at Dot for being tricking him.
When the dotted arrow reaches Africa, we see elephants tearing through the map and stampeding, with the dragorillas also flying through the hole as some of the background singers chase after them with whips. Dot starts to sing again as she watches her friends shoo off the animals.
Dot (Mad): ♪I said quiet! Quiet! QUIET!♪
Dot goes back in the hole, and we see the dotted arrow on the globe fly from Africa and point to a deserted island.
We cut to Waldo and his men in the same pirate ship they were in from "H.M.S. Yakko" as they follow after Dot and the background singers.
Wizard Waldo: Well, why didn't I think of this before? Everybody gets lost on islands!
Waldo gets a good look at Dot and the background singers riding in rafts until they set foot on shore. Dot relaxes under a palm tree and starts to read until the island starts to emerge into a volcano that blasts them all into the sky. Waldo sees them fall from the sky (with most of the background singers floating down with their microphone umbrellas) and prepares his cauldron.
Wizard Waldo: Oh, wow. Even I couldn't have predicted that! Anyway, with Dot falling towards us, I've got the ship right where I want her to land. As soon as she lands in the cauldron, it'll be stew for all of us!
(Dot lands in the water behind the ship, much to Dot's confusion.)
Wizard Waldo (Confused): Huh?
(Waldo runs to the edge of the ship and sees Dot rise from the bottom of the ocean)
Wizard Waldo (Angrily calling down to Dot): Hey! You missed!
Suddenly, Waldo hears a splash from the cauldron and turns to see Background Singer #1 with his butt in the boiling water.
Background Singer #1: (Lands in Waldo's cauldron and his butt starts to burn) Oh, OH, OH, OH, (Screams as he jumps out and runs super fast as he burns) I'M ON FIRE!
Background Singer #1 screams and runs around in pain, with his recklessness causing the cauldron to spill the boiling water and set it on fire. Waldo could cry out something like "Abandon ship! I repeat, abandon ship!" to his guards until Background Singer #1 runs into him, causing them both to fall off the plank and land in the ocean. When
they rise up, I thought it would be funny to see Waldo and Background Singer #1 wearing opposite hats. Background Singer #1 with Waldo's hat on and Waldo with Background Singer #1's hat. Waldo talks in a calm and angry voice to Background Singer #1 before he escapes.
Wizard Waldo (Sarcastically and sternly): Thanks, I needed that.
Background Singer #1 (Ignoring Waldo): (Swipes his hat back and puts it on) Don't mention it. (Dives under the water and swims away)
Wizard Waldo: Search the water!
As Waldo's guards swim and look for Dot and the background singers (either above water or underwater), we follow the dotted arrow flying to Nepal.
We see Waldo and his men at the bottom of Mt. Everest as he tells them to prepare for the worst.
We fade to Waldo and his guards climbing up Mt. Everest, with Waldo practically starving to death. as he says "I haven't eaten any food! I haven't drinken any water! It's been years! I feel like I'm gonna die!" in an exhausted voice. One of Waldo's guards would correct Waldo saying that they've only been up this mountain for either a few minutes or hours (depending on what you think would sound funnier). Waldo responds, "Oh yeah, it kinda feels like six months." in realization.
As Waldo begins to lose hope, we fade over to the very top of Mt. Everest where Dot stands. She's seen in a purple winter scarf around her neck. After throwing her yellow backpack up, about one or two background singers stand behind Dot as she calls out "Yoo-hoo!", which echoes across Mr. Everest, inadvertently catching the ears of Waldo and making him regain hope.
(Upon hearing Dot's "Yoo-hoo!", Waldo turns around.)
Wizard Waldo: Follow that echo!
We cut back to Dot happily hugging herself now that she's finally in a quiet location for her to read. As soon as she jumps down to sit and read her book in peace, Background Singer #1 says "At last!" before he and the other background singers look around for any danger, not knowing Waldo's coming.
When we cut back to Waldo and his guards, they find a good place to hide and look up, with Waldo eager to see Dot and the background singers up close and completely distracted. All Waldo and his guards have to do now is wait until the moment is right for them to snag Dot without the background singers noticing. One of the guards even asks Waldo how long this will take.
While the background singers keep searching, nothing in plain view. Neither Waldo nor his armies are here (not knowing that they are below them). And even Dot notices how quiet everything is.
Background Singer #1 (Surprised): Wow, Dot. Talk about the demand of silence. Ev… even Waldo's not here.
(Dot puts her book down and notices her environment)
Dot: Hmm. Gee, it's so quiet.
(Dot smiles and shrugs before she continues reading)
Background Singer #1 (Nervously) (Off-screen): I-I-I-I know.
(Dot puts her book down and smiles nervously)
Background Singer #1 (Now starting to get nervous): Miserably quiet.
Dot (Nervously): Terribly quiet.
(Background Singer #1 gasps in horror and he and Dot face each other)
Dot and Background Singer #1 (Nervously) (In realization): Awfully quiet!
(Dot screams at the top of her lungs, unintentionally sending her background singer friends flying off Mt. Everest.)
(Dot's scream echoing fades as we hear a rumbling sound getting louder and louder. The screen vibrates before we cut back to Waldo looking horrified by what he's about to see.)
Wizard Waldo (Scared): RETREAT!
As the avalanche starts, Waldo flies off with his guards running down the slopes. Meanwhile, the background singers are seen tumbling or even sliding down the mountain. Background Singer #1 I imagined would tumble and roll until he's in a snowball. Waldo would try to avoid him as the snowball gets bigger and bigger until it flies off a ramp, and hits Waldo directly.
As the avalanche dies down, Dot would let out a remorseful "Oops" as she looks at the background singers, Waldo's guards, and even Wizard Waldo who melts away in defeat.
Wizard Waldo (While melting): AAH! YOU CURSED GIRL! LOOK WHAT YOU’VE DONE! I’M MELTING! I’M MELTING! OH, WHAT A WORLD! WHAT A WORLD! WHO WOULD’VE THOUGHT THAT A CUTE LITTLE GIRL LIKE YOU COULD RUIN MY UGLINESS!? I’M GOING!
Waldo screams and cries as he melts until his clothes and scepter are left behind. After Waldo's death, Waldo's guards turn to Dot and the background singers.
Waldo's Guard #2 (Shocked): He… he…
Waldo's General (Shocked): (Gasps) He's dead! You-you killed him! Both of you!
Waldo's guards cheer and help the background singers up Mt. Everest to congratulate Dot. Dot apologizes and confesses how she never meant to kill Waldo, as she didn't even know he was following them. She explains the lesson she learned and Dot sings the final part of her quiet song. Only this time, instead of Dot singing solo, she sings with her background singer friends.
Dot, Background Singer #1, and other Background Singers: ♪I/She thought I/she wanted quiet, I/and thought I/she could apply it.♪

After Dot finishes her song, Waldo's guards throw a parade and sing a gender swapped version of the song, "Ding-Dong! The Witch is Dead" from "The Wizard of Oz (1939 film)" (credited as "Ding-Dong! They tie Waldo's robe and hat to a bottle rocket and before shooting it into the sky (along with a couple of other fireworks) and they march down the mountain to spread the word about Waldo's death while singing.
