Looking back at the entire Oz franchise, I notice Scarecrow is paired off with a lot of love interests. In the original books, he was with Patchwork Girl. The filmmakers of the Wizard of Oz wanted to pair him up with Dorothy, which is why she tells him, "I'll miss you most of all." And in Wicked, he has Glinda wanting to marry him and he ends up with Elphaba at the end. Scarecrow's got a lot of girlfriends in this franchise. So I made a comic about Elphaba confronting all of them and apologizing in her own way. It was kind of painful to draw Elphaba as a jealous girlfriend.

When my very good friend @judithnhart texted me a photo of books she was giving away and asked me if I wanted them of course I said “YES” ( silly question in my opinion... Ha! Ha!)
