Interesting talk I had with @prismarts on Discord:
"Magic is emotion" + "Magic isn't a permissible shortcut to hard work" + "Mastery over magic is mastery over life"
= Mastery of one's emotions is mastery over life.
And I love that so, so much. Because it doesn't negate emotions and how important they are to who we are as people. But at the same time it also keeps them in check and balances them out with discipline, hard work, and effort. Both sides are important to consider. I love how scattered the advice was over the course of the various episodes, because you have to think for yourself to put it together. Combined, it's unstoppable.
Man, I need to rewatch Wizards. It's so good.
