Yes I know I did an awful job on participating in the readathon but hey, there's school and such. I plan on maybe taking part in more of them during the summer or spring break.

Book(s) finished today: 0 Pages read today: 149 Total # of pages: 1014 (Not counting what I read from three books I gave up on for now).

I started and finished 4 books during this read-a-thon. I guess I did pretty good. I attempted to read Seven Gothic Tales, Stolen, and Sharp Objects, but I couldn't get into any of those. I might try them again at a later time. This was fun, but I am not sure that I will be participating in one for a while. I am glad I did this though!

I love that this community encourages me to read for pleasure. After my long break from reading, booklr helped me find new, interesting things to read.

I didn't read all 7 books I had chosen for this and that's okay! I wasn't expecting to be able to read them all. And despite not being able to read as much as I would have liked everyday, I'm still happy with my progress. This was a lot of fun and I hope to join more if they pop up during the year :)

I didn't know it was a thing till now! I've been following a few book blogs (more since starting this!) but everyone seems really nice and I've added a bunch of books to my TBR. So I hope to get more into it, discover great books, and meet awesome people.

WLB Readathon Final Wrap-up

Read today: 161 pages in The 100 (now completed)

Total pages read: 819

Total books completed: 3/4

Wow! I had a much busier weekend than I anticipated, which massively screwed up my reading schedule, so I didn't meet my goal of four books. :( But I'm happy that I did manage to read three novels in just a week (even if they were short ones), putting me about two books ahead of schedule for my 2015 reading goal. It's certainly more than I've read in a long, long time, and it felt great—I'm so excited to be getting back into reading as a hobby.

Keep an eye out for the reviews I'll be writing for To Kill a Mockingbird, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and The 100. I'm hoping to get those out this week and next.

Thanks what-lovely-books for organizing this readathon! It was the perfect way to jumpstart 2015 :)

BOOKISH QUESTION #8: What do you love about booklr?

I'm brand new to booklr, but so far I love it! I honestly had no idea there was such a thriving, book-loving community here on tumblr. I just knew I wanted to start a blog to share my love for books, learn more about new books and old books alike, and maybe make some friends along the way. There are some really lovely blogs and people here on booklr, and I'm so excited for what's to come :) I hope I can get to know you all a little better!
