"What even are these? Human knockoff bands? Come on, who would even do something like this...?" Uzi walks her fingers along the CD selections, but nothing catches her eye. Correction, nothing good. A lot of these bands have similar names to ones she know from back home, but they're all humans instead.
"Is this some kind of sick joke?" she mutters. She starts listing off the real bands as she spots the impostors. "My Chemical Robots, Fallout Bot, Linkin Port, Desktop Confessional, Funeral For A File, Panic! At the Disc, Blink-182-Bit, R.O.M., Green Data...! I hate this place!"
She raises one of the CDs above her head before realizing that if she smashes it on the ground, they'd probably make her pay for it. Teenage rebellion gives way to teenage resignation, and she carefully puts it back in its spot.
But someone's been watching her- or maybe they've just been nearby and Uzi's self-consciousness thinks they've been watching- and this girl looks... trendy. Uzi doesn't have a great history with teens like that, but the people in this city have been pretty nice so far, so...?
"Hey, uh... Do you know any good bands?"she says, looking up at her (why are humans so tall?). "I need to make sure my new room doesn't suck, so... Open to recommendations. I mean, if you want. Whatever."
