She does not participate in the human holiday and honestly hates it. However, she does soften up just a bit for you. She will accept the treats and kisses but nothing else. Alright, maybe the sharing of stories. That's it!
What ? A mistletoe? What is THAT? Oh. Okay, she likes this tradition. Maybe she will keep it up all year round. You tell her that's not part of the rules and it only works during winter and she scoffs at the idea.
She tells you of her homes traditions during the winter months and how weavers were always worked to the bone but each craft and stitch was made with love. The blankets always felt a little warmer during those harsh months. She holds you a little bit closer when the cold catches on.
You bake her some treats and she inspects them curiously and denies them at first. Not because they aren't good, but because she prefers something a bit more sweet. And warm. And snuggly. And something that has a little spice to it too. You give her a kiss and she purrs that that is perfect. But a little Eliksni grade chocolate doesn't hurt either. She prefers the marbled kind.
There are moments where she does seem distant and upset but you know it's because she thinks of her family. She has no idea of where her wife is or how their children are doing. She would love to introduce you to her, but of course she is also uncertain. Does Athrys still hold the same love as she used to for Eramis? Did she move on with another? You hold one of her hands and reassure her that you love her and you'll always be there with her.
