A few weeks ago my therapist asked me, "What do you believe is keeping you from being productive?" And I said, "The pain." For people attempting to do more, or things they have never seen or heard done, they face more rejection because they take more risks. How do you get up and do better after your biggest disappointments, failures and hurts? You allow yourself to acknowledge, heal and change. Im a good eye for people who have curated real change in their lives. Why? Because those who know me can attest - I have gone through a lot of changes personally, financially, romantically, professionally etc. And this is my process! Out of all the elements u need for internal change - transparency, patience, commitment, support and accountability, you have the most important role in making it so! You ready? Only a few of em wld grow on bushes in the summer! Strawberries? Those were everywhere! The Driscoll & Reiter family started breeding raspberries on a small Santa Clara farm in 1937. After 20 years of breeding they came up w nothing. It wasnt profitable so they had to stop. But in the 70s one of the varities from the yard was brought back to start the industry. No one had any idea the raspberry was boutta change the game!! Miles Reiter believed, against decades od failure, the raspberry wld be v popular. It was studied for mold resistance & eventually 1 berry was ultra mold resistant. From this berry, they began to breed more that cld weather the shipping process. It took over 40 years, but raspberries longer lasting & more popular than ever! U a whole raspberry out here, bae. 🍓🍒🍉 #SelfCare #Podcasts #SelfLove #BlackWomen #WMON (at Los Angeles, California)
