#wmra #mountainrunning #argentina #villalaangostura #worldchampionships #japan #runallovertheworld #fromzushitotheworld (Villa La Angostura) https://www.instagram.com/p/B48EEY_gGaJ/?igshid=1k74vbzevg5us
ATHLETE COMIISSIONリンク: http://www.wmra.ch/about-us/athletes-commission #mountainrunning #wmra #athletes #commission @wmramountainrun @corsainmontagna.it @atratrailrunner @andorratletisme https://www.instagram.com/p/Bz9f_GvBTYo/?igshid=9qg2zjjgpx2h

Giving to Charity
Giving to Virginia based non-profits who enhance our communities is one of our core values at E-N Computers. As we mailed in the check for taxes, we did a quick calculation, and discovered that we’ve given a little over 10% of our 2014 profits to charity.
Some of the charities we’ve supported include:
WMRA: NPR Public Radio 90.07 – the best news station around, great coverage of emerging technology and Information Technology that is affecting our society. They’ve been ahead of the curve in covering emerging trends such as social media and privacy, wearable technology, wearable security cameras for police, the Internet of things on their news, and information programs such as Science Friday. WMRA serves the Harrisonburg, Staunton, Waynesboro, and Charlottesville communities with the best wireless news service – no internet required – but if that’s all you have, you can stream their station too.
Mercy House Harrisonburg: In partnership with WMRA, we have provided 1 year of onsite IT support to their organization for FREE. Mercy House helps the Harrisonburg community end the revolving door of homelessness, not only by providing shelter, but digging deeper into root causes such as health, education, and employment. Focusing on helping families with dependent children, they’re dedicated to ending cycles of poverty one family at a time; we’ve been helping them fix one printer at a time.
Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation: Based in New Market Virginia, SVBF keeps history alive through Civil War Reenactments and battlefield preservation. Land preservation throughout the Shenandoah Valley Historic Battlefield District is key to their mission of ensuring history is accessible; it’s hard to re-enact a civil war battle in the middle of a big box store, otherwise General Lee would have to charge the Yankees’ positions in sporting goods. Luckily for us, SVBF isn’t looking to keep history alive on their network; we’ve helped with that by modernizing their Internet speeds and replacing aging computers proactively.
Wayne Theater Alliance: The Wayne Theater Alliance is restoring the 1920s Wayne Theater into a modern multi-purpose performance and meeting venue. The transformation is taking place with a complete remodel with all new infrastructures, such a plumbing, electrical….oh, and that often forgotten piece of building infrastructure, network infrastructure. New network infrastructure such as CAT6 wiring, gigabyte managed switches, and wireless access points means the show is guaranteed to go on. This modern infrastructure in their network closet isn’t just for the IT technician’s fancy, it means that when a guest to the venue needs a ticket, they don’t get instead an hourglass…or when a presenter is using the board room projector, they don’t instead get “failure to load”. The Wayne will be a destination for downtown Waynesboro. One detail I know for sure is that the order within their network closet will outclass their rivals in Charlottesville and Staunton.
also, i find it ironic that the local npr station's call sign is wmra. none of the radio hosts seem to have any "men's rights" leanings from what i've heard.
Two more recent broadcasts, in America:
WMRA-WEMC's Bob Satterwhite broadcast 4 of Godowsky's Chopin Studies on the programme Bob's Record Shelf on 21 January.
And the irreplaceable Karen Hearn of Mississippi Public Broadcasting played several of the Chopin Studies on 23 January.
Many thanks to Bob and to Karen (love the dress).
