they hadn't really thought it was necessary to say. hand tightly wound over their pokeball and squinting forward before sighing and pushing the sphere into their pocket; not even bothering to press the button yet to retrieve their pokemon. the elgyem floating now back over to taro, while eyeing the champion.

an awkward shuffle and shrug of their shoulders. they didn't entirely see the necessity in saying who they were, all they did was let elgyem teleport a few things out of the way—prevent further damage. prevent people from getting hurt.
