So in Ninjago S2, the ninja steal Garmadon's Helmet of Shadows. During their escape Jay jokingly puts it on because he thinks it makes him look more "menacing."

And Nya delivers this line: "Is that really wise? If that helmet turns you evil, we're kicking you out."

They have no idea that seventeen seasons later, Jay will accept a wolf mask and shatter his inner goodness. Only instead of kicking him out, Nya tears through the Merged Lands to find him, and does everything in her power to bring him back onto the team.

Finally finished some very special projects, my faces! Been chipping away at these for a bit, got em done right in time for the con I went to last weekend (Furlandia!) all three are made with eva foam, paper mache, and acrylic paint.

Feels really crazy and good to have my physicalities realized in this way, to be animals that exist in the world undeniably seen by others eyes. Species' are all listed below :•]

Western urban coyote

British Columbia wolf (? Maybe? It's species is still not completely pinned down and is sort of flux-y mixed up with a lot of lycanthropic influence)

Coastal wolf!

I don't plan to take commissions for these as the painting process is very tedious, and I don't feel entirely comfortable being trusted to create another creatures visage in this way, it's a lot of pressure. but maybe I'll change my mind at some point!
