Since I'm thinking about animal motifs tonight :

Wolf motif as in "Might look like a loner but would be nothing without a pack".

Crow motif as in "You're so smart. So special. There's so much to you. But people only remember you as the bad omen."

another stray jack thought but i cannot fully encapsulate how much he is like a socialized wolf to me. he’s like my timid black-mouthed. cur dog who acts like a small one because the only other dogs in our house are much smaller than her. except he isn’t blissfully, maybe even tragically unaware of his size. he knows exactly what he is and how much more strength and capacity for harm he has. he’s literally the wolf who loves the lamb it doesn’t eat and sacrifices the very definition of itself by not eating it and not being a wolf. he’s the caged animal and several theological snake metaphors all at once somebodybhelp me
