“Gotham Fortress” by AJ Suede
In 2015, AJ Suede was one of the most prolific rappers in the underground, dropping tape after tape with a whole range of talented producers including Antonio, Alalu, Horse Head, Nedarb, and more. Since then, he’s been decidedly more low profile, instead choosing to channel all of his creative energy into one magnum opus. “Gotham Fortress” is the result of that focused effort, and it’s easily his greatest project yet. When the Suede God rapid fire releases music it’s a lot of fun, but this new approach has paid off just the same, with the end result being an endlessly re-playable album front to back.
