Logan has been taking Merc missions to make some extra cash. Wade recommended it, and he'd like to get some bad people off the streets.
One day, he was booking it down and alleyway, following a guy no older than 30, with a satchel filled with various vials of mysterious liquids, purples, greens, blues. This guy had been stealing from a private scientific building for the past few weeks, and no one could catch him. Why they turned to Logan to kill him was way past his paycheck.
As he gained on the man, The theif turned back to see their distance, soon frantically sifting through his satchell to grab out a random glowing green vial. He threw it back, landing straight in Logan's face, breaking open and spraying across his whole head. He winced, trying to spit it out of his mouth as best he could.
He tried to ignore it, continuing to gain on the man until he was able to pounce on him, stabbing his claws through the man's abdomen. Logan pulled his hands off of the man, breathing heavily and wiping off the thrown liquid from his face. He didn't even want to know what that was..
He grabbed the satchel and returned it to the scientists it had been stolen from, collected his bounty, and started to head home. He felt odd, but didn't notice anything in particular. That was when he saw a familiar face about to pass by him on the pathway.
