About difficulties in being confident and trusting yourself
Reach out to Artemis. She's a very confident goddess but don't feel intimidated.
She will help you gain trust in yourself and your perceptions. Especially women and those who have being victims of gaslighting or abused by a cult. She will listen carefully, She will not judge you, She will understand what you've been put through and will be able to see your strength.
I know you've been told all your live to keep silent, to be submissive, to occupate little space, to serve men, to be subjected to them.
I know you've have your perceptions denied and told it was the demons/your flesh/satan/whatever, that "you can't trust your heart" because it's sinful or similar things, I know you've been indoctrinated into believing whatever your cults leader/s said, to distrust your own thoughts and perceptions and be afraid of your own mind.
Reach out to Artemis. She will listen, She will tell you how strong you are(you have to believe Her💙), and She will help you and be at your side while you heal and gain confidence in yourself.
🌒Understand that it's okay to be wrong, to have mistakes. Maybe you're afraid to leave the cult (an example), you keep wondering "but what if I'm wrong? What if they really are The Truth/the Real Religion/whatever?" And so What? Maybe you're wrong(although if it's a cult you're definitely making the right decision to leave whenever you can), but you can't be paralysed by the terror of making mistakes (although is completely normal to feel this way due to what you've been put through), you need to move on, if you do so you may make a mistake, but you'll gain something so much more valuable: confidence and trust in yourself, who will help you all your live.
🌓Listen to your thoughts, your feelings. Trust them. Trust your perceptions. Don't let anyone tear you down for what you believe/think/feel. Maybe you're in a situation where you can't express these things, and therefore it will be harder to have confidence in yourself, but even if it's only in your head, trust yourself, listen to your feelings and thoughts and give them space, give them the importance they deserve.
🌕Value yourself. Take care of yourself, give yourself the importance you deserve. Don't be afraid to be loud or take up space. Cover your needs, because you deserve it, you're not less important than others, you deserve food, sleep, love, happiness, freedom. You.are.important.
🌗Always remember how strong you are, and that what you've been put through is real and you're not making it up or playing the victim.
🌘 Give yourself rest when necessary, do what you like, read about your interests, hold your believes, don't do things you don't wanna do (if its safe to do so); no matter who criticises you, stand up, stand up, stand up. Even if you can't stand up to those criticising/abusing/treating you bad/hurting you because it's not safe, do it in your mind, vent to a friend, write it. The important thing is that you remember and have clear that you're not crazy, you're not making this up, you have a right to have your own opinions and they are as important as the other ones.
