im a little embarrassed people are liking my posts with drawings that i think are kind of ugly but at the same time, it's motivating me to draw more.
umm anyways, im dropping off my knd ocs' refs here, might put them on artfight soon. i was thinking of drawing all the ref sheets on paper but i messed up so badly on BonBon that i just decided to do them digitally instead. the coloring seems off to me but i give up atp LOL

03/17 I became more invested in KND (especially the DCFDTL cuz they're so awesum) and made an OC 2 days later, that being Bonnie / BonBon. The first scenario I imagined her in was her practically bouncing around a room with excitement because of love at first sight. I went through a couple of names trying to make a pun before landing on BonBon, like the candy people get on Valentine's Day + Bon... C-HOUSE... Bouncy house? Get it? 🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅OWOWOWOW STOP PL🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅 I also found out there was already a Sector C and we all know Sector V so I had to come up with something else.
Sector C-HOUSE is love-themed, or more specifically, themed around Valentine's Day (one of my favorite days). Outside of the narrative, it's because of BonBon's whole thing with Alessandra and because they're homely operatives! In universe, it just so happens to be a coincidence. Richard is the odd one out in terms of color palettes since I couldn't figure out how to get a bit of Valentine's Day colors in there and just decided to make him an oddball. (Let's all have some Valentine's Day colors and not tell Richard!) However, they all have something related to Valentine's Day with their names.
1. Richard Kadbree (named after Richard Cadbury, chocolate gets handed out on Valentine's)
2. Valentine Letterson (Valentine, love letter, also unrelated reference to Jenny Letterson from the Walten Files)
3. Cupid Catorce (Y'know Cupid the angel, and Catorce is 14 in Spanish ~ Feb. 14 is Valentine's Day)
4. Bonnie "BonBon" Rose (Already explained the BonBon part, roses are given on Valentine's Day as a symbol of love)
Honestly, I was trying too hard to make them appear as convincing characters while also looking decent. Enough's been said about behind-the-scenes. About Sector C-HOUSE, as said in the refs, they're a sector focused on aid. Whether it's redeeming villains / literally being therapists or providing physical backup for operatives in trouble, they're on the way to support others for the sake of kids all around. They also act as therapists to other operatives if that isn't clear. They mostly hang out in prisons, trying to get villains to redeem themselves by reaching the heart (of their problems). They're doctors, they're fighters.
I actually have a story in mind for them that I made up the day of BonBon's creation (and finished writing May 2nd because I was busyyyyyyy with school) but this is getting super long and the story is even longer.
1) I got a little distracted on my 8th artfight attack because I thought of drawing in the KND artstyle. Guess who my absolute favorite character is challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)
2) My second attack was to someone who liked Goku sooo I decided to try to draw him along with their other character. The attack was my first attempt. This was my second attempt at drawing Goku while I was still working on the attack. "If I keep drawing Goku, maybe I'll get better at drawing men..." (Also, I'm not tagging this because I'm lowk afraid of the Dragon Ball fandom)
3) Results of drawing Goku only two times / redesign of one of my main OCs, Roger. I was on my 10th attack when I got bored again and thought of drawing him for the first time in forever again with a slightly new design. I would yap about his story + relations to my favoritest OC ever but I do NOT want this post to be going on forever
They're out of chronological order. The true order is Goku first, then Alessandra, then Roger but who cares! (I do. I love to talk about every single detail without regard of relevancy.)
