I love tumblr with all of my heart.

Nowhere else on the internet - dare I say the whole world - will you find a place with such an amalgamation of much random knowledge, inside jokes that everyone just kinda gets, and weird fandom shit mixed with cute pictures of cats and aesthetic landscapes all in one place. It‘s like a secret hangout full of people just being people.

This is the only Social Media Platform that still feels *alive*, you know? And I hope this never changes.

I don’t know if people understand how mentally exhausting it is to have to filter who you are, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. And the moment when who you really are starts showing, that’s when you’re told that you did something wrong.

Sometimes I feel like I will never be able to be who I am 100%. Not that I don’t like who I am. I love who I am. But other people don’t. And normally I’d say fuck em, but when it’s at work it’s a different story.

I’m just being who I am, but other people seem to think that this gets in the way of my job.

I hate normal people. Like I actually cannot stand being around them anymore.

Stay weird forever. Promise me that? Don’t become normal people. They suck.

So for context, Nico got in a big argument with our dad over asking for basic respect. Dad pulled this whole “it makes //me// uncomfortable!!” thing.

Normally when people say that (fawn response) we back down. But not this time.

So for anyone who struggles to embrace their authentic self

(LGBT+, autistic or any kind of neurodivergent, niche/unusual interests & hobbies, multiplicity system, etc. - whatever you’re struggling with)
