With no escape, Cogtopolis is pushed beyond desperation. They take over the Future Thinkers and find a way ’out’ thru the clocktower. They now fight a war with the surface/clockworks to escape and get food. The leaders of the surface are trying so desperately to keep this hidden… but there’s only so well you can hide a war.
