NERDS ROPE NERDS ROPE NERDS ROPE
Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory prop candy & golden ticket!🍫
Why did they leave your average candy shelf?
Does anyone else remember Wonkalate? It was this purple “chocolate” that I think was supposed to be raspberry flavoured, and it had Nerds mixed in. It used to be one of my favourite sweets when I was little. When I looked it up online there was barely any information on it. Did I just imagine it?

1093. There are lots of Wonka candies at Honeydukes- mainly because Wonka himself was a student at Hogwarts once. A Hufflepuff, he was a very talented and creative student, particularly when it came to potions. They always came out absurdly sweet, though, no matter what.
“Wonka mocha beans are the perfect combination of delumptious dark chocolate and a smooth coffee flavor. Pick up a box today and feed your imagination.”
//My fianceee @vikingpaw sent me a package with all sorts of my favorite treats from Norway, along with a box of mokka bønner (mocha beans.) I thought that Wonka would probably make something similar, so I decided to give it a go. This is based off of one the boxes for the 100th anniversary of mokka bønner styled like their 1920′s packaging. Enjoy!
//I bought this a little while back, mainly because it still has the Wonka logo on it. It’s a big tube with small rolls of SweeTarts inside. Although, Nerds are my all time favorite. It’s a shame that the classic Nestle Wonka candies have been rebranded as “Nestle Candy Shop.” Well, at least in the USA. While things like SweeTarts and Nerds aren’t actually Wonka candy in the books, the fact Nestle took the Wonka name off of Everlasting Gobstoppers really gets to me. A candy that shares a name with the one from the mind of Roald Dahl, which was no doubt inspired by it, should hold the Wonka name. If they’re not going to hold the Wonka name anymore, they should at least get rid of the word “Everlasting” from the box. Nestle claims that the Wonka brand will be focused on “more imaginative candy” so time will tell there. I didn’t mean for this to turn into a rant, but it did. Got a little carried away there. 😂
