Stage Six: Dance

The dust settles from yesterday, and everyone including the winner wants an elusive sprint victory- but will the peloton manage to control the break? For our competitors for the maillot scintillement, it’s another opportunity to get ahead both in the fanwork general classification and in the word classification!

Peloton control is an art, one might almost call it a dance. For today, anything to do with dance will get you over the finish line under the time cut, no matter if you get elbowed into the barriers or not. Tomorrow, the ITT for the riders and a challenge prompt for our competitors await! Feel free to reach out with any questions, and there is no minimum word count for this stage.

Stage Five: Weakness

It’s the fifth stage already, and as the mountains fade behind us for now, the sprinters lick their jowls yet again as the riders aiming for GC keep a wary eye on each other. And for our wonderful competitors, it means another word prompt!

It’s difficult to be strong enough to win the Tour de France by the fifth stage, but it’s easy to be in poor enough form that your opponents can sense weakness. Whether weakness in a race, recovery from an injury, or simply having a soft spot, anything to do with weakness is yours to create in order to sprint for the barriers in this stage!

As with the rest of the flat stages, this stage has no minimum word count. We hope you don’t get boxed out, and are available for any questions you have!
