Yeah that whole “Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me?” is utter bull crap. People kill themselves over cyber bullying/bullying/trolling. Words can hurt. Words can kill. Words are not harmless.

A man once crushed my spirit by the words I heard him say of me. When I think back on those words now, I see how he spoke with such ignorance.

Words have power to bring life or death to the human spirit. Life and death are in the tongue, such a small and powerful and destructive instrument of our bodies. We need to be careful how we use it.
