Senior year of high school i sang Atlanta Zoo by Gucci Mane in front of my entire english class, and for obvious reasons, i couldn’t use the n word, so i just substituted it by using the euphemism “people of color." Unfortunately, that made it even worse because there was one line in the song that went like, “yall ‘people of color’ lazy." And that’s when i knew there was no place for me in the karaoke trap music industry unless i was willing to come off as an unintentional white supremacist.
