All the odd numbers for Stamets but specifically A Hundred Sunrises 'verse Stamets (Sunrise!Verse?)

so, because it’s 1:40am here and i have to get up early in the morning, i’ll answer for both culmets and sunrise!verse culmets (that sounds far, FAR nicer than android!paul culmets au, but i’ll keep that as a tag regardless :p)
1. Who runs up to the other and hugs them after a long day?regular culmets: paul. he doesn’t run per se - a long day for him means 12+ hours, mostly on his feet, so he’s barely able to walk afterwards, but he does stumble into hugh’s arms, faceplanting into his chest, arms coming around hugh’s middlesunrise!verse: hugh needs the hugs, but it’s still paul who delivers (after he understood just how much hugh needs those hugs). he doesn’t really get tired, she he’ll always hug hugh with the same kind of gentle vigor and will let hugh rest his weight on him.
3. Who picks the other up when they are hugging them?culmets: hugh. it makes paul squeak a little, so there’s no way hugh can resist that.sunrise!verse: well, paul is the stronger one - he can quite literally throw hugh through a wall - but it’s still hugh. paul doesn’t quite get that if he’s honest
5. Who wraps their arms around the other when they are sleeping side by side?culmets: already answered. it’s paul, who’s almost always the big spoonsunrise!verse: hugh. he’s scared paul might leave, and he also needs his space heater with him because he gets cold very easily
7. Who gives bear hugs?culmets: neither of them really does, but hugh sometimes comes closesunrise!verse: again, neither
9. Who runs up to their partner so fast for a hug they knock them over by accident?culmets: paul does, and it’s not that rare. he’s just very excited about science and will proceed to talk in multisyllabic words for five minutes until he realizes hugh got up from the floor againsunrise!verse: neither really does
11. Who twirls their partner around when they hug?culmets: paul, when he’s excited about science; but also hugh because it makes paul gigglysunrise!verse: paul does!
13. What do they like most about being in each others arms?oh BOY THAT’S A FUN ONE :DDculmets: paul loves the security and the love in it, knowing that hugh will protect him as much as he can (meaning things like giving him the day off mandatorily when paul can barely stand straight because he’s so tired, or getting in between paul and someone who’s being ... less than nice, which unfortunately happens on occasion) and hold him and keep him close and stay with him for him, that hugh is here for paul, for everything paul is. he also loves that he can hear hugh’s heartbeat - and hugh’s physique. and then there’s the way that hugh will sometimes start nibbling on his neck that he just adores. hugh’s favorite thing is how warm paul is, first of all, because he gets cold easily and paul is an absolute space heater. and he, too, loves that paul is right there with him, that they’re together, that he gets to hold and keep this brilliant, crazy, wonderful man; that paul calms down easily in his arms. he also loves how soft and cuddle-able paul is, the happy little snuffles he’ll make when he’s happy.sunrise!verse: hugh loves being held because he feels protected, like all the memories can’t get to him in paul’s arms, like lorca and his incredibly insane demands on how quick to heal everyone are far, far away now. he also loves the slow, steady beat of paul’s (albeit synthetic) heart. also paul is a spaceheater in the sunrise!verse too, so :D paul loves first of all how human it makes him, because hugging is reserved for humans, and he is being hugged and gets to hug, which makes him human too. he loves that hugh will put his weight on paul, allow him to carry some of hugh’s burden with him, that hugh will relax a little.
15. When they hug, who snuggles their nose against their partners neck?culmets: oh, definitely both. they’re also both rather fond of leaving a surprise hickey. the only problem is that if you so much as look at the skin on paul’s neck with the intent of leaving a hickey, it’ll flare up brightly red, which would be rather unprofessional, so hugh doesn’t get enjoy those marks there too often. also, paul will spend a lot of time snuffling into hugh’s neck, making tiny sounds of contentment, and it’s lovely.sunrise!verse: paul snuggles more, definitely, because he loves the way hugh smells. hugh is more prone to snuggling into paul’s hair because it’s soft and like spun silver in a setting sun.
