Like I am actually losing my patience with this job though.

Last week I:

Showed up to work when I wasn’t on schedule bc I was asked

Showed up when I was on the schedule but my coworkers were like…why are you here

Did manual labor in 90 degree heat with a nervous system disability

Had a nervous system flare up bc of it

Which in turn sent me into a very painful Crohn’s flare

Got woken up twice before my alarms with work texts/calls

Put my boss’s personal belongings in my house (as in they are taking up my living room and I originally weeks ago had to pick them up from her ex)

Did my coworkers background check paperwork while they were cooking bc they were both apparently too lazy to do it themselves LIKE WE WERE ASKED

And ALL of that was only 9 hours, less than $130 worth of “work” in which I originally signed up for 20 hours, no weekends.

There is no HR. I still haven’t been formally added to payroll 7 months in which means I get my checks later than everyone else consistently. Which also means I’m not sure if I’m being paid all the tips I’m promised. I don’t know if she’s accounting for tax withdrawal.

NOBODY DOES THIS SHIT UNLESS THEY ARE PAID AS AN ASSISTANT, not what we are trying to regulate as minimum wage.

Today works experience was slightly weird lmao, a group of like fourteen year olds came inside and ordered like normal people but then they proceeded to like give me fake names of shows they like or sm like that lmao

It went kind of like

Girl one: the name would be [glances at her friends and they giggle] Bella Swan!

Girl two: the honey tea would be to the name of Marinnete! [giggles]

Girl three, while holding in laughter: mine would be for Sylvie!

Girl four: mine is for Luka!

And I’m just like-

Me: “We’re already past that.”

Sister: “No, next season.”

Me: “We’re not even sure we’re getting a next season.”
