Gak boleh iri. Gak boleh dendam.

Jadi, mulai hari ini, temanku yg lulusan belanda, yang dulu sempat bilang,

"Kantormu enak"

"Kamu beruntung bisa kerja disana"

Dia bekerja di mantan kantorku. Iya mantan. Karna aku udah gak kerja disana.

Dia memang diincar sama mantan bosku, karna memang capable di bidangnya, bisa R analysis, lulusan belanda pula, bahasa inggris gak jadi masalah. Jadi, as I expected, dia diterima di kantorku.

Iya aku iri. Haha. Ketika aku udah gak di kantor, dia masuk kesana. Sebagai staf tetap tentunya. Sementara aku? I have been there 1.5 years officially, 1 year unofficially. But it was not enough to ask me as staf tetap wkwk. Pengen banget emang din jadi staf tetap? Ya kalo ditawarin mau lah. Tapi sayangnya enggak. Yah, apalah aku cuma babu di lapangan. Wkwk. Kasian.

Rasa iri ku bertambah lagi dan lagi, sejak ketiga teman RA ku diangkat menjadi staf tetap. Lalu, temanku yg lain, yg tiba-tiba jadi staf tetap di unit yg berbeda.

Saat Direktur administrasi bilang "Ya semoga kedepannya, entah kapan, bisa jadi kan mbak dini bergabung disini". Sontak dalam hatiku bilang, "gak akan saya kerja disini pak. Saya akan kerja di tempat yg lebih oke dari sini". Iya, aku dendam. Aku dendam terhadap kantor ini. Semuanya terasa tak adil. They did not give me a chance to work in the office. They just expect me can not work. They did not give me a chance!!

Saat workshop 4 hari kemarin, si kaka bilang "ya allah din, semoga rejeki mu dilancarkan ya".

Aamiin kak. Semoga aku bisa dapet kerjaan yg lebih baik dan membuatku berkembang daripada disini. Kataku dalam hati.

Let's see. Aku bisa buktikan I deserve to work in good institute, more than there.

What are we supposed to do with our future?

Isn’t it funny how many hours we spend in our rooms or in the library just to pass this tests. Not only just to pass, but to get good grades. Have you ever find yourself sitting there after hours and hours of desperately learning some stupid stuff by heart which you’re not even interested in? But you still keep going the other day and start asking yourself more and more why you are doing this? Is it really worth all the hours, days, months? Isn’t there something else you really want to do, something that sparks a fire in you? Maybe something you are afraid to go after because it isn’t the usual stuff people in their mid 20s should do, should study? Because it won’t bring you the salary you are suppose to earn. Or do you don’t even know WHAT you want to do in your life, how you want to make that money so you can at least afford a nice home. So you just keep on spending all your youth with studying for something you actually don’t want to get up for in the next 40 years of your working life and you find yourself every hour on social media watching some nice stories of beautiful faces travelling the world in beautiful places to escape this trap you are in and to just imagine yourself being them, enjoying dinner with a nice guy at a nice place with no worries at all. yeah, I feel that.
