#workshop woes

Everyone in this workshop is so well spoken and I feel like this asking speakers questions

been calling a volta (in poetry) a ‘vulva’ in my head as a haha funny joke, but the haha funny joke is on me now because i accidentally told someone i loved their vulva in poetry workshop today.

only mildly effected by the golem change because no more funny minecraft familiar. for the record i think minecraft should also be using a different word from "golem".

I’m so tired of seeing some of these quirky little passive aggressively supportive quips about the workshop name change. We get it bro. You’re #not like the other girls. Farming validation points about how you are “so totally okay with it!!!! BUT-!” is so performative lmfao. Just accept it quietly and move on like a normal person

I don't think construct workshop sounds as bad as everyone says, and it's definitely not as bad as K from wind thinks it is

Sorry but ever since the name change I can only ever refer to the GW as "The Social Construct Workshop" in my own mind 😭😭😭

i'm not opposed to them changing the names, i'm not jewish so i really don't have a say in the matter and it seems most people support it?, but i do think construct workshop sounds Bad lol

i'm probaby just being a crybaby about it lol but i really wish they didnt change the golem workshop... growing up it felt like i couldnt find golem representation in anything the correct way. and yeah golems arent made of metal and stuff but FR did it nicely... it felt like something small i could feel seen in. now it feels more like erasure than respect/anti-appropriation. but meh i'll forget about it in a few days or smth
