My mother was a useless layabout. No dad to speak of. I got tired of her doing more whinging than actually feeding me, so I took off on my own, and good riddance to the old wolfbat.
Being out on the streets was more dangerous, yeah, but I spoke the language. I was a tough kid, and I could always beat on the others if I wanted or needed something. And with that little crybaby tagging along after me, eventually, I had at least one person I could trust to help me find food.
I feel like you're prone to jealously?
Not jealousy, vengeance. I refuse to let those who have wronged me have the last word.

I'm a bigger fan of "better safe than sorry" when it comes to my officers, kid. Until I'm absolutely sure that she isn't going to hurt any of my people or cause any harm to the city, I am going to be keeping a very close eye on her.
Do you think she remains loyal to the triad?
I don't know. Given the fact that her former leader tried to kill her, I'd guess she isn't connected to them anymore, but there's no guarantee that she doesn't have her own agenda.
And I am not going to put all of my officers at risk for the sake of one insincere cadet.
