I'm watching Netflix's "Worst Ex Ever," a documentary series about real-life relationship crimes. To my horror, in almost every story, I recalled the relationship between Jocelyn and Valentine. The love story began with how good, kind, charismatic, and caring Valentine was (seemed to be) in the beginning and who he became after a while, as he turned Jocelyn's life into hell. Control, isolation, manipulation, his frequent outbursts of anger, surveillance and kidnappings. His attempts to pressure pity so that Jocelyn forgives, and she said that she often gave him chances, and it seems even before Jonathan was born. What the hell else was he doing?
In each story "Worst Ex Ever" partner committed all of the above actions, as well as beat and mocked in every possible way the one he "loved." I do not know if Valentine did anything like that with Jocelyn, but he definitely used psychological violence against her. After all, she was afraid of him. It's so awful.
Worst Ex Ever is unsettling but a must-watch for both women and men. Don't overlook or justify red flags—stay alert, because evil truly exists among us 🧿
Worst Ex Ever on Netflix is a testament to how a lot of shit could be prevented if cops weren't walking around with their heads up their own asses...
I just watched Worst Ex Ever and it just shows that if authorities believed women, it could save lives.
If they believed the first victim, there wouldn’t be a second or third. No one else would’ve gotten hurt.
I had minor surgery today, and I’m home recovering watching Worst Ex Ever and the Wade Wilson case is on and I just have to say to the women who called that fucking monster, while he was in prison for murdering two women, willing to take off their panties for him, I hope you never fucking know peace you absolute dipshits.
