Honestly one of the BIGGEST things I love about writing Lance?? How much he cares about people. He puts up a very good front when it comes to acting tough and harsh, and when he gets impulsive and angry he does hurt people - but his main aim is to look after his makeshift family. Even when they’re not on good terms he’ll always have their back. 

The same can be said for people he genuinely thinks are in trouble that are around his age or younger than him? If he picks up that they’re in abusive situations or being mistreated in ANY way he’ll try his best to protect them, in any way he can manage as a broke teenager with anger issues. It doesn’t show much, but he tries so hard to make sure people around him that he cares about are happy.
