They say when the student is ready the master appears and I'd like to think that this is true in other aspects as well; and, what it means to have a worthy adversary, what would a little resistance do for you? What could you achieve if you were faced with a nemesis, one who could challenge your mediocre efforts with loud disdain, never relenting until you really reached the Pinnacle of what you could be. Some people are always looking for their soulmate,  I'm hoping to encounter my diametric opponent. the yang to my yin, the heel to the chin. these anti gun folks have got my goat at present. I just don't get how they cannot see the fallacy of the no-gun utopia. the only folks who will be restricted from carrying will be the ones that would've had your back when the shit hits the fan. gun ownership is a law. 200+ years written, ratified, tested and I just don't get how people in this country can think that it's okay to start removing the rights that we died for? What's next? should we repeal women's suffrage? reestablish slavery? What rights would you be willing to give up if it only made you feel today like you might be safe tomorrow? will save no lives by removing the right of the law abiding citizen to equip themselves to defend their lives, property and the families from the folks who would do them harm. Not to mention that the folks who would arm themselves illegally have no restrictions on what type of weapon they would carry; so, I've already been handicapped in thos fighy. so you'll forgive me if i don't think it's the intent of the 2nd Amendment to restrict what I am allowed to have available to defend myself when my assailant is going to have anything he can get his hands on.  it doesn't seem like a real solution to me. Ferret versus...?

Usually when I hear anxious dooking there’s an asymmetrical play fight between a ferret and a cat. But this time both cats were lying down near me. Then Apollo came running out of the laundry room with his tail up and bristling. I hadn’t realized that ferrets could poof their tails out like scared cats do. I assumed the two ferrets had been fighting and Apollo lost, but then I saw Artemis walk in from the other direction.   So I put down my coffee and walked into the laundry room half-expecting to see a raccoon or something. A bucket was knocked over. Apollo lost a fight to a bucket.
