Wouldn't it be cool?
If we had a sarcastic text For example: You look great today -You look greeeat today- Is sarcastic, just add dashes. It always means the opposite of what you meant. BTW. -you look very ugly today-
Wouldn't it be cool if we made a bunch of sections for people to live in based on their beliefs? Like, if you changed your mind, you could move into a diff. Community, no paperwork or anything. And there would be copy cat versions on each continent, that way we could also live in the environment that we wanted. And in the center would be a place where all the families and friends could meet up and agree not to judge the others' opinions. We would never be forced to separate, we could visit the other communities, and we could get a bunch of people together in the middle. No huge government needed.
Wouldn't it be cool if we had two types of flights? Like one that was normal and safe and then one that did tricks and flips in the sky while the others watched and tutted because they're not as cool as us Extreme Flyers.
Borderlands 3: Phase Jumper
Let's take a short break from the RW. He's brilliant, and one of my favourites, but the Sirens have unlimited scope for their powers. They've always brought the most creative approaches to the battlefield, and any game that doesn't include a Lilith or Maya is poorer for it. Say howdy to the Phase Jumper...
Phase Jumper
Siren class. Action skill that lets you jump into and control an enemy for a short time.
Raised as a house maid for a rich family, discovered her powers and used them to take control of the Lord's daughter and cause trouble. Had to flee after she caused an accident that she believes killed the daughter. Fled to Pandora on a cargo ship to learn to control her powers after seeing Maya destroy Jack's paradise (location name?)
Action Skill name: Phase Jump
Phase Jump into and take control of enemies. Wear them like a skin, attack their allies and cause some mayhem
Tree 1: Globetrotter
Final tree skill - BOOMBOOMPOW!
When jumping from one character to the next, if your jump results in their death, your action skill period is reset, allowing for an unlimited number of Jumps
Tree 2:
Final tree skill - Got Me Some Fried Chicken
Phase Jumping into a character gives them a massive boost to health, shields and projectile damage [bullets, grenades and rockets] (+50% per level, up to 250%)
Tree 3:
Final tree skill - Share The Love
Every enemy you Phase Jump into and out of without killing becomes an ally until their death
We Don't Need Roads - When jumping between enemies, a trail of fire is left behind which has a chance to ignite enemies (10% chance to ignite enemies. Fire lasts 3 seconds on the ground, 5 seconds when enemies are alight // +10% and 2 seconds for every level)
Jumping Jack FLASH! - Create an explosion with increased damage dealt when jumping (explosive damage level 1 // +1 per level)
Supercharged - Increase damage dealt whilst controlling a jumped enemy
Off The Rack Is Cheaper Than Tailored - Can now jump from one enemy to another (Phase Jumping +1, +1 per level up to five jumps per action skill usage)
GRENADESGRENADESGRENADES! - When Phase Jumping into an enemy, they now have a single grenade to throw (+1 grenade capacity per enemy per level)
Don't Test Me... - Holding the grenade trigger causes you to suicide yourself, instantly ending your action skill and adding the remaining time to cooldown
Permanent Character increases:
- health and shield capacity
- reload and weapon swap speed
- gun and grenade damage
- cooldown rate
Jumping into an ally restores a percentage of their health and shields (20% per level up to a maximum of 100%) Instantly returns you to your body with a full cooldown wait
Jumping into a downed ally restores them to 10% health and shields (10% per level up to a maximum of 50%) Instantly returns you to your body with a full cooldown wait
Borderlands 3: Rumpus Wrangler
I'm a huge Borderlands fan, having sunk 100s of hours into both titles. As with any fan, at some point I've thought 'wouldn't it be cool if...'. Well, here's my first character idea, focusing on action skill (story to come later)
Borderlands character ideas
Rumpus Wrangler
Has a Dinag, a four legged mini prehistoric skag with large and powerful jaws. An ancient Skag fossil was discovered by Jack's mining operation and stolen by [character], aJust before the end of [character]'s shift, an explosion at the Eridium refinery brings the fossil to life. Using [character]'s DNA, Dinag was created, forging a telepathic bond between them. Jack discovers this and attempts to capture and dissect Dinag before [character] goes on the run. Finding the Vault treasure and bringing down Jack is his only way to escape Pandora and ensure Dinag's safety
Action skill name: Sic 'Em Boy!
Unleash Dinag. Your pet attacks nearby enemies. Stays out for 15 seconds. 45 second cooldown

Hop, Skip and a Lunge - Dinag learns a jump attack, greatly increasing attack speed over short distances
The Slaughtered Lamb - Dinag has found his voice and can now howl, scaring enemies into not attacking (n% chance of not attacking when howled at, AoE, range increases 10% per level)

Kill Skill - killing an enemy increases weapon, grenade and reload speeds (+2% for 5 seconds, +2% and 2 seconds for every level)
Pucker Up - Melee override skill, when action skill is in use, melee attacks now direct Dinag/pack, allowing for better control and coordination, as well as getting a short damage bonus
