So I went to Dallas Texas and competed against some of the best female poets in the 🌎 at Women of the World Poetry Slam 2018. I was nervous AF, heart racing every night with belief that maybe my story had no place on stage. That maybe a southern state wasn’t ready for this Jersey tongue. Only God knows how happy I am to have been sooo wrong!

They let me talk my shit and listened to me. The poets there spilled out so many emotions on stage and yet still had enough love to share every single night. First time ive ever cheered for my competition as if the weren't going up against me lol. ❤❤❤❤

I earned 3rd place in the world… SO JERSEY EARNED 3RD PLACE IN THE WORLD.

Thank you for an experience ill never forget. Now its time to join my teams! 💪

Ive had the honor of competing on 3 teams --Montclair State Slam Team, New Jeru Slam, & Jersey City slam-- at the College/University Poetry Slam Invitational (CUPSI), the Southern Fried Poerty Slam (Second largest slam in America), The National Poetry Slam (NPS), & next week ill be in Dallas TX, representing NJ at the Women of The World Poetry Slam (WOWPS) 💪 💪 My first batch of ChapBooks SOLD OUT the week they were printed 🙌 so the second batch should have the same fate. There's no set price for my work right now, all I ask is you PAY WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO GIVE FOR THE ART.💲💲 It may be a Little book buts theres a BIG part of me inside 💜💜 and I promise it won't be a wasteful read. 📣📣📣📣I do have electronic copies as well so if you're interested, I have Venmo, PayPal and CashApp. Books ARE selling quite fast and I'm happy about that, but I'd be happier if you had one 😊
