So, my friend @toostressedtorest is making a short film called ‘Queer Baby’ as part of her passion! She’s an LGTBQ+ WPOC (women people of color :D) filmmaker, and she wants to see more of US in the media, and seeks to create more representation for us, through her films <3.

Forreal though, films cost money though LMAOO. So, she’s opened up an Indiegogo donation page to fund her film! :) My baby is TALENTEDDD AND I KNOWWW SHES GONNA CHANGE THE WORLD WITH HER FILMSS AND DREAM AND PASSION AND VISION <33

dirty compared to her friends' white ones.

Small brown girl grows up

surrounded by tall, pale beauties.

Everything small brown girl is not.

Small brown girl spent

too many years hating herself.

Her beautiful clay brown skin,

rich and full of life like Earth itself.

Her bright brown eyes,

the same color as her Abuelita's.

Strong brown woman is a celebration

of her proud, beautiful ancestors

of her rich, loud, colorful culture.

How could small brown girl

not be beautiful?
