having jon bellion, troye sivan, AJR, and wrabel all release music in one day is absolutely fantastic.

a mix-up of good omens-coded songs (idk how to title this--)

Hellooo my maggots, so there were a number of songs that were just so good omens and ineffable lovers coded that I had to see how they sounded together. But me being me, I don't know how to actually mashup songs, so I just sang it the way I'd have wanted to mashup the songs and made it into one song.

Of course all songs remind us of Good Omens now, that's a different matter of significant concern. But these especially were very Aziraphale and Crowley's religious-trauma-and-being-queer vibey.

Not to get on my “hallelujah is not a fucking Christmas song” soapbox again but I’m very interested in the amount of songs that seem to be religious on first listen that religious people (Christians) immediately take at face value. Everyone is entitled to their own interpretations of songs but I can’t help but notice how many christians hear a few lines with Christian imagery and look no further. Death of the author, but also looking up their intended meaning can change the song a lot

No, Pentatonix, hallelujah should not be on your Christmas album. Take me to church by Hozier should absolutely not be played in a church. And the village by wrabel is very explicitly about being queer in a homophobic Christian environment, and yet people still don’t see it

There’s a connection here but I can’t put my finger on it
