update (kinda?)

you might have noticed this already, but i've been recently uploading things to AO3 staggeringly without posting about them here.

the reason? cross-platform posting everything everywhere has rly been overwhelming me as of late (especially for reaper's bouquet, since it has so many short chapters). same goes for lmtt, wrct, my oneshots, etc etc. ;;_;;

i love these stories soo soo much and i dont want to get overwhelmed by them. cus then they all just sit in my folders gathering dust. so i guess my main message here is: my AO3 has the most recent and up-to-date updates for my fics!

however: i will try my best in due time to post everything over here too! it just might be some time after it goes up on AO3! i really like the idea of posting art along with the writing, so i hope to do that soon for all my fics that are missing them!

The Living Need Light, The Dead Need Music is a spectacular visual and musical journey through the fantastical funerary traditions of South Vietnam.

Created by artist collective The Propeller Group, the video follows brass band musicians, spiritual mediums, professional criers, and street performers through the mournful and euphoric public ceremonies of a multi-day wake: a set of colorful rituals that resonate with funeral traditions in New Orleans and other parts of the “global south.”

Part documentary and part visionary reenactment, the video is a poetic rumination on life, death, and the stages in between. Ultimately, the work speaks across languages and cultures, amplifying a sense of cultural interconnection, and appealing to universal foundations of myth, storytelling, and mourning. Shot in ultra-high definition video, and produced with the technical sophistication of a Hollywood film, it immerses viewers in a lush and captivating dreamlike atmosphere.

About the film: In developing countries, the demand for second-hand electronic equipment is quickly growing, due to an increasing connection to the “global world”, and the inability to afford brand new products. Every year, around 200,000 tonnes of second-hand and condemned electrical goods arrive in Ghana, West Africa, mainly received from the “developed” world. Many of these electronics are nearing the end of their life, and will soon be discarded as e-waste.
