I love how when people talk about the crazy shit on Tumblr no one talks about the lizard political election it's like we all forgot about it like some distant fever dream
Was the election2016 at all inspired by the sandsverse?
Possibly? I wasn't part of the Creative team so I can only guess. The only thing I do know is the candidates were loosely based off real candidates from the 2016 election. The foreshadowing and signature in this post should help you figure out who was who. (sorry Wretched Tooth supporters)

I think about him every year around this time. How much I miss him. How much I miss my boy.
