It was obvious, the blonde vampire knew the game and played it well. Damon eyes narrowed as he raised a brow at Brooke. She was going to let him win the game— it was obvious, but Damon didn’t want to win the game. Damon wanted a challenge. Damon was interested as he looked at Brooke as she spoke some cheesy line of what he assumed he wanted from her, “In my experience, anyone who says that is either hiding how they actually feel, ” Damon said as he leaned in closer to the younger vampire, “Or enjoys being a tease, but don’t let that fool you— I enjoy a c h a l l e n g e,” he said biting his lips slightly. Damon was a straightforward and cocky male. Trying to keep Elena off his mind was easier than he first then his first notion. Brooke was fascinating and fun— more than other such ladies he crossed paths with in the past. It may have also been the fact that she also reminded him of Katherine. She had the fiery flaming persona that Damon had originally fell in love with, before he realized how much of a lying, manipulating bitch she was. “Lucky as in, I haven’t Exactly rip her throat out,” Damon said, finishing his sentence smirking slightly as his hand fell gently marble counter that his drink resided on. Brooke was making him feel more comfortable in his own skin, as a predator, comfortable with all the bad parts that came with being a vampire. Damon watched as she tapped against the bar as she gazed up at him. “Good to know,” Damon said simply as he already had her figured out the moment he began talking to her. Damon felt a sliver of happiness in finding another fellow vampire who seemed to enjoy being an unstoppable killer as he did.
He knew that at a time he wanted to be human, and Elena Gilbert magnified those feeling, but now with her not remembering, and it was unknown on whether she wanted to remember. Damon realized that it was probably best to stay in this form as a vampire. Damon did enjoy many of the perks that came with being a bloodsucker such as Compulsion, Drinking as much as he wanted without getting drunk, as well as being an eternal stud. The one thing he hated the most being the enhanced emotions. Feeling such a thing as love for someone who couldn’t remember loving you hurt worse than death itself. Damon watched as Brooke’s eyes glimmered to the spoken word of blood. Damon wanted it too now after thinking about it. He made a lot of promises to many of the originals that he wouldn’t kill the town folk, but that didn’t mean that he couldn’t s n a t c h, eat, erase— Did it? Damon watched as Brooke nodded slowly before she brought her drink to her lips before putting it down once again. He watched as she let the word roll of her tongue— a devilish smile placed on her lips simply. “Doesn’t it? I can’t remember the last time I was able to rip open into someone’s carotid artery without judgement from my brother or his chastising blonde original friend,” Damon said putting emphasis on the word friend.“A superb suggestion Brooke,” Damon said before he picked up his glass, bringing it up to his lips to finish up the rusty colored fluid— slamming his glass on the bar. Slowly Damon had risen from his seat on the bar stool and stood with both feet on the ground. “ And both our thirst will be quenched— I can’t think of any better way than this one so,” Damon said holding his hand out for her to led the way, “I assume you have an idea of what you’re looking for.”
“Good, it would be been boring if you didn’t.” Something Brooke liked being around someone who could entertain her without actually annoying her or becoming a burden and Damon seemed just like that type of guy. Plus, the dark vibe she got from him and the fact that he liked a challenge only gave him more plus point. It seemed as if she’d finally found someone who screamed quality. Even if she didn’t exactly care the blonde found herself wondering what view the male had of her. Either way Brooke had a feeling that she was getting on his good side, unless he turned out to be as fake as she could eventually be. “Though I’ll leave for you to figure out what the answer to that is.” It wouldn’t be too hard to figure out that the vampire enjoyed playing games and teasing whomever she had to tease to get the answers she wanted, yet that wasn’t the hard part. The only difficult thing was to try and find out everything the blonde was hiding. From her unhealthy obsession with werewolves to her sadistic actions when it came to killing someone. It’s as he explained himself in what exactly he meant by the owner being lucky in which Brooke couldn’t help the laugh which parted her lips. “Okay you’re right.” She spoke and bit her lip. “Though I’d be honored to watch you do just that. I mean.. Live entertainment, who doesn’t love that?”
Humanity was something that Brooke had grown to despise. She would kill and kill if it meant that vampirism wouldn’t be taken away from her. One thing she knew for sure is that she’d finally found the right her, that she’d finally grown to be the person she wanted to be, no matter how sick anyone who found out the truth about her thought she was. There were worse creatures than her in the world. There was nothing wrong with having a little bit of fun, yet that would depend on what anyone’s view of fun would be. Something the blonde had never experienced was the one thing she didn’t seem to have any interest in. Love. She’d never had anyone who showed any feelings of affection towards her, not even her mom or dad. No one had, and maybe it was one of the reasons why she’d turned into such a cold stoned girl. She didn’t know, but she didn’t really care to find out either. “Well.. You should just do what you want.” She spoke. “It’s non of your brother’s or his friends’s business anyway.” She spoke her head tilting to the side slightly and she licked her lips. “If you want to rip into someone’s throat, then do it.” Brooke was clear with her words. She wouldn’t want for anyone to get in the way of her actions, so she wouldn’t want that for him either. Finishing up her cocktail, the blonde let the cup rest on the bar, only to get up, a small smirk spread across her features. Nodding at him, the blonde bit her lip as she began to walk, her eyes leaving him only to move from one body to the next, trying to spot a victim, and the first one catching her attention would be the first one to end up dead. A couple dancing in the middle of the dance floor, made her brows furrow. Their dance moves were terrible, and she knew that getting them away from the pub would be more helpful than anything else, and besides.. It wasn’t as if she were going to use compulsion on them either. She wasn’t alone this time, and she’d rather be quick in getting her little snack than taking ages. Nodding towards the dark haired male Brooke hoped for him to follow her as she made her way towards the couple. Her actions were rather quick, as she compelled the both of them and soon enough she was walking out of the bronze, the two soon to be victims of their actions following them. “Right.” She breathed, as soon as she walked out, only to turn around and face the vampire. “Are you the type, to let them live, or let them die?” The answer she’d end up getting from him wasn’t one to change what was going to happen. Brooke was only curious to hear what he had to say, before they got to what they’d said they’d do.
