((for TI Week Day 4, Holiday Specials)) “Oh you have got to be kidding me.” “Whatever are you talking about, Ashe?” Ashe gestured around the bar, every seat filled with a clone of herself. “These, Inien!” The witch smirked. “Yes, they’re quite impressive, aren’t they?” She slammed her hands down on the counter. “Why are they here?!” “Well, you see,” Inien explained as she poured them each a drink, “Thog was telling me about this lovely Alaranni holiday. You dress up as someone else, and do shitty stuff as them, and then ruin their reputation! One of the few ideas they’ve come up with that I can get behind.” Ashe glared at her, but waited until she’d tried Inien’s concoction to say anything. It was good enough to cool her temper, a little. “Simulacrum aren’t dressing up as somebody,” she pointed out.
“Oh I know, but no one could ever mistake me for you.” Inien smiled at Ashe. “Even if I was willing to chop off most of my hair. Unfortunately....” She gestured at her creations. “All they can do is sit there, at least when there’s so many.”
“So why leave them... conjured?” Ashe frowned, not sure if that was the right word. Inien shrugged. “I figure it’ll give me a day off by creeping people out, and get funny reactions out of everyone else.”
Ashe snickered at that, and held her glass up. Inien clinked her own against it, and the two of them settled in for some amusing people-watching, Ashe’s own heebie-jeebies aside.
