Why do you write? What are you trying to achieve on your writing journey?
I'm writing because I dream of getting a professional job as a published author.
Writing is a hobby of mine but I don't care either way if I get published.
I use writing for therapeutic reasons, like keeping a log or daily journaling.
Writing is my biggest passion in life but I don't want to get published.
Other (please feel free to add your own reasons bc I'd love to hear them).
This joke has officially gone too far. Writers reblog and tag this with your yves. scale number based on the extent to which your writing skews malesub or femdom.
As an attempt to make this nonsensical thing make sense, one could imagine a 0 as writing about only pathetic sopping wet men with an absence of femdoms; perhaps they are gay or just alone. A 6 might be writing femdoms with their mdom buddies, or female subs, or alone on an adventure dominantly without needing to be in a relationship at all. Or any other interpretation, I don't care, I'm doing this to be silly. Also, if you make your own version of this, please tag me; I found this very fun!

Thank you for tagging me @willtheweaver here and @somethingclevermahogony here!
So I haven’t really revealed too many antagonists of Peter Hart without story spoilers, but there’s a few I can think of that I can share.
Baron Alastair
Insane British naval officer that likes to hunt pirates for sport…or negotiate with them if it would benefit him. A crazy man to match Peter’s insanity.
Duke Matthias
Benjamin’s bigoted father that forced an arranged marriage against Benji’s will. The prince was able to “escape” that night, leading Duke Matthias to send Baron Alastair after Peter
Davy Jones
Cursed undead pirate who makes waves (figuratively and literally), commands the sea life to collect his bounties as well as all else that is owed.
Prince Alexander
Bigoted prince of Portsmouth that leads Benjamin on more than a few times, before shattering Benji’s hopes. Greedy, arrogant, snide and insincere, this man has a very punchable face.
The Kraken
This pirate tale is not exempt of a visit from this sea monster. The Kraken has claimed many a pirate life, as well as sailors. Residing in the Echoing Cove, this sea creature lures its prey into the cove by way of psychokinesis, showing the prey their deepest desires before drowning and devouring them.

Two Truths and a Lie
My first writeblr game! Thank you to @new-royston-cursebreakers for the tag! His poll is here.
I'll put a little bit about my wip first, since I haven't actually talked about it here.
Protag: Ignacio, adventurer dragon fighter blaggard and reluctant necromancer.
Background and motivation: He's been cursed with burning blood, scales, and other dragon-related suffering by a witch king. The curse can only be broken when Ignacio slays the dragon that had been tormenting the realm. This would be difficult enough, but to top it all off, the dragon died on it's own before Ignacio could get to it. Now Ignacio is searching for some way to bring the dragon back from the dead so he can kill it again and finally get back to his old life.
Setting: The world functions on fairy tale logic, where strange and disturbing things are considered normal and almost everyone who could be helpful is unnecessary cryptic. There're plenty of classic fairy tale characters, including talking animals, pixies, trolls, knights, princesses, witches in disguise, and many more.
Antag: Jack, a simple farm boy who's strangely proficient with a sword. He's the classic hero, chosen by fate to stop Ignacio from resurrecting the dragon that laid waste to their kingdom.
Now, on to the game!
Which of these is a lie?
Jack and Ignacio were childhood friends
The witch king has a ~86% approval rating amongst his citizens
Ignacio can't drink alcohol

Writeblr Positivity Week starts today!
Each day of this week, I’m going to post about a writeblr I enjoy, why I enjoy them, and honestly just shower them in affection! A lot of them are gonna come from the discord server I’m in, probably, but not all of them!
Such as today’s Writeblr, @pansdora!
We don’t know each other so well, but you’re so sweet and encouraging despite that! I don’t think anyone has ever just... straight up created a piece of art for any of my stories without me requesting it. Or in this case, somehow before I requested it!
You have such a positive and happy attitude and it shines through in your posts! Also, your writing? It’s gorgeous. It captures all the ethereal auras and spookiness that I adore about darker fairy tales, or books intended to create a sensation of knowing something dark is out there, but perhaps not knowing what. It’s so beautiful!
All in all, I’m super glad to know you and can’t wait to see more of your writing, art, and general presence here on writeblr!
In a world where humans have superpowers, which superpower distribution below do you think is the most interesting and why?
All of humanity has (varying) superpowers.
Most of humanity has (varying) superpowers.
Select few of humanity has (varying) superpowers.
Other (please explain below, I'd LOVE to hear it!)
For my science fantasy WIP, I'm trying to figure out how I want to structure the superpower/metahuman ability system and I'm also curious about what others prefer when it comes to stories like these. 🙂🙂🙂
