i know we love the bunker for it's the first stationary home the boys have been able to call their own (even if it is stolen/inherited) but we can't ignore how it just further separates them from the world: not only is it detached from town it's also camouflaged and literally underground; no natural air or light or outside sensory input whatsoever- which makes every bunker scene feel like a soundstage- which Chuck probably loves; it's a contained environment. moreover most bunker scenes feature Sam and Dean only, everyone else merely passing through- again, Chuck loves to keep the boys isolated not just in location but in company- despite the bunker clearly being made for dozens of occupants; they live there for years and amass many found-family members and yet.. their home is empty most of the time. 

on the one hand, i do love the idea of filling the bunker with their wider community, educating a new generation of people of letters and hunters, rehabilitating wayward monsters and victims. 

on the other hand, they need to get the fcuk outta there. 

first it was the endless open road, then came the prison of seclusion. they deserve a middleground where freedom meets connection.

anyway so my theory is that it was Chuck's crappy writing that added the extra S to *Cas* so now that he's powerless i expect every written instance of Castiel's nickname to be spelled the right way in 15x20 and this includes subtitles thankyou very much

guys i found someone who enjoyed the finale:
