Fun fact: This second-last episode has many inside references to the show's production and history. The gas station where Dean finds Miracle is called "Tod & Buz Route 66 Service". Tod and Buz were the main characters of the '60s TV series Route 66, which was one of Kripke's main inspirations in the development of the series.

And i'm done

I just rewatched 15x19 and after 1½ years i'm done with my Supernatural rewatch. I started my rewatch when i moved into my place after leaving a toxic family situation (and fighting like hell to get my own apartment) so the boys have kept me company through a special time of my life for many reasons.

Like i said in a previous post, i won't watch the finale because i can't go through with that emotionally again. Not at this time. And 15x19 is actually great and it feels good to exit the show with Jack since he's my favorite.

Thank you to everyone who’s followed me through this. I truly don’t have the words for how deeply this show has shaped me, comforted me, and stayed with me. And I might try to write about it in a longer post eventually. But for now, I’ll just say that I love them all so much.

Now I’m starting my Gilmore Girls rewatch. At least Jared’s in it. I won’t blog about it because that’s not really my thing, I only did it for Supernatural because it’s special and will always hold a special place in my heart.
