Say it with me, lovelies. We don’t own tropes.

It’s one thing to come into someone’s inbox if a writer or creator legitimately took something. We appreciate that more than you know. What I don’t appreciate are people coming into my inbox to tell me someone else stole a trope I’ve written or plan to write. It has happened now with TWO writers in two weeks who haven’t taken ANYTHING.

I don't get how someone writing a BASE trope is not okay to the point of sending hate to other writers, but somehow legitimate stealing is overlooked. Baseless accusations and jumping the gun like that get to the point where writers are truly afraid to share anything out of fear of being attacked. And some of the writers out there getting their details, plot twists and more taken? They go unheard because some become desensitized to what stealing and plagiarism actually mean. 

If you’re coming into my inbox to start drama, I don’t want it. This site has enough of it. If you’re here to truly help writers and creators out, my door is open. And if you send writers hate over writing a similar TROPE and nothing more, kindly unfollow. I don’t want or need that energy here.

Hey, lovelies! Long work day today with little sleep. I am not ignoring asks or messages. Just busy. ❤️

I did want to also note because of my limited time, I can't do formal fic requests at the moment. If you send me a thot or an idea and it inspires something, great! I need to go where the muse takes me. We all do.

If you are sending an actual fic request and want something done right away, I don't have the capacity. I'm sorry. I urge you to take those requests to other blogs if you want something done. I just ask that you let me know should you choose to leave it in my inbox so I can concentrate on other things. Like getting WIPs caught up and outlining my original series.
