Starved of cool women after getting into Kamen Rider. They were so right to make her a cool woman, if she was a dude i wouldn't give a shit. She's so cool...

I had to sprint to the theater because us showings are ending... you gotta shake faster she's almost gone. and she's so good. literally she's got everything that makes a Cool Guy character compelling but she's a woman. she has nuance. she has ambiguity. she has kickass fight scenes. she cares about people but can't be direct about it. and the movie is like 80% with her Front And Center.

while I was still trying to figure out the mood, I had yusuke more in fanatic mode & was gonna go more into the logistics of his project—one of the reasons he’s going so nuts is he’s getting really into something that could theoretically take a full year (if not more) while also having to keep up with school and also having to seriously think about career stuff. I’ll probably pull/highlight some of these details for chapter 4… maybe

I was feeling lukewarm on the kpop demon hunters trailer until the girls started making goofy Dragon-Ball-esque exaggerated faces too. But the dudes are also repulsive to me so idk if I can tolerate het in this movie. Maybe I need to bear trap myself and get my friends to watch it with me otherwise I'll never see it.

The animation is really good, it’s soooo expressive and the fight choreography is really cool. The dudes are also repulsive to me but they’re actually not a big part of the movie, they’re like… props. set dressing. and the love interest is the most normal standard hotguy design of all of them so it’s tolerable

FINALLY GOT TO WATCH NEZHA 2 I MISSED MY BOY. I don't like that he's tall forever now though his face looks bad. That's not my horrid gremlin son that's some webtoon guy. That abyss monsters cooking themselves joke was good.

like as a ship? pretty compelling stuff early on

guy who's so incapable of turning off the charm he starts flirting with the physical manifestation of his inner despair.

but outside of that one scene in episode 9 i remember it being pretty easy to forget dragon was even a thing? kinda falls by the wayside after the initial arc, which is a shame because the concept is so interesting and could've given shiraishi more opportunities to play the two of them bouncing off each other

Your self-promo + that anon who's going to start making an OC webseries + the I Don't Want To Be A Magical Girl pilot reminds me that I had to shelve Toku Yuri Project due to unforgivable pacing (can't fit it into a oneshot) so now I have to pivot to a more contained yuri project inspired by the incredible feeling of perfect-parrying the last boss of Nine Sols. Good luck to all of us on our Projects! Thinks about Meihui's suit acting career while watching unofficial KR stageshows.
