There is something quite liberating working in your own space without the distractions of anyone else’s energy and objectives. I love working with people but I love working on my own too. It gives me a chance to really tune into the important things and consequently be so much more productive and inspired in what I do. My hope is that by working more efficiently, appreciating the energy of the moment I can shrink my to-do list quite significantly. This has been one of my writing companions for the last few days. There is nothing quite like having a cat companion to help with the creative flow especially when seeking to get into the #writingzone. It’s been a productive few days although I’ve still got more to do for my book proposal for #hayhouse #writersworkshop2018. I’m excited that I’m getting there. I’ve just finished reading this book “Do/Story/How to tell your story so the world listens” by Bobette Buster. For any writer whether experienced or aspiring this is brilliant. She wraps insights up in stories that get her points across effortlessly. I’m happily wrapped up, still in bed writing and writing. It looks like there was a frost last night so I’ve no idea what gems I will discover when I venture out.
