Small reminder that you can make whatever you want in a fandom (within reasonable moral boundaries of course).

I see a lot of people who get sick of seeing Grian in fics or fanart, and while I understand why someone would get frustrated (I've felt a similar way), please don't tell people to stop creating what they love just because you think a character is overused.

That's not to say I don't think you can not like fics with overused characters, just try to make sure your frustration isn't directed at the creator. We make what we want to make, and unless it's a commission, it can stay like that.

But ye, just some ramblings from an author at 2am, you can ignore if you want we'll see if I regret this post in the morning lol

Hey Hey!

It's very nice to meet you all! So to start things off, I want to say right now that I haven't seen every single hermitcraft video, but I watch quite a few. I apologise if anyone seems out of character, but I try my absolute best. So! Now that we've got that out of the way, let's have some rules:

I don't write explicit things. It makes me really uncomfortable so I personally will not participate in such things.

On the same topic, I don't do shippy stuff. That being said, I will absolutely write fluffy things with no actual romantic involvement. I don't like shipping real people.

Please be respectful. I promise that I try my hardest and if you think that something should be altered, then please let me know in a civilized manner.

I love taking requests, but I will not promise to write all of them.

And that be all. Anything that is related to general rules and such will be under the tag writingzone for convenience. Thanks for reading!

New Format

I already posted the first link, but as per request, I have created an AO3 account! For convenience, the chapters will no longer be fully written out on this site, but I’ll instead provide a link to each chapter as they come out here. This should clean up the blog a bit and hopefully make things a little nicer for you guys to read. To search for the links to the first chapters of any series I’m writing, they’ll all be under #chapterstart so that should make things easier to find. Thank you all for the nice feedback, and thanks for reading!

Have you thought about posting your work to AO3? It's "easier" to read since it sends out emails when you update if we're subscribed to the work.

Honestly, I was thinking about it! I'll probably end up seeing if I can sort that out since now I know you guys might prefer it there, so look out for that I guess. If I end up getting an account going, I'll post an update here about it. Thanks for giving me the feedback!

This has been one of my writing companions for the last few days. There is nothing quite like having a cat companion to help with the creative flow especially when seeking to get into the #writingzone. It’s been a productive few days although I’ve still got more to do for my book proposal for #hayhouse #writersworkshop2018. I’m excited that I’m getting there.
