Bingqiu being happy about Binghe being the only political/king that matters.
(I still have a few prompts in the inbox. Idk if this is exactly what you meant, but it’s what I’ve got lol)

“The Shui people are sending you vaguely threatening letters again,” Shen Qingqiu said as his husband entered their chambers, dropping one of the missives onto the desk with a clear air of haughty dismissal.
I love writing Kiba so much gah
Kiba is a character who is just easy to be with yknow? Idk I just think he’s a really sweet kid who doesn’t always get what’s going on but is like ride or die—characters who go through shit just like to hangout w him bc he’s oddly enough a chill guy, like a festival with a breeze does that make sense?
He’s nice to be around and just is there to be a really good friend man—I think it’s fun to pair him up with people who are kinda like… awkward
Kibasaku is adorable—little bookworm coming out of her shell and letting herself just be herself
kibasasu is sasuke just being able to relax without pretenses bc Kiba is just happy to be here and doesn’t rlly give a damn abt all the past stuff + doesn’t have history w Sasuke that makes it awkward
Kibanaru (i used to ship this a lot when I was a kid lol) oh. my. god. SO CUTE! Thinking of a fanfic where whenever Naruto goes on his next big crazy adventure he always accidentally meets up with Kiba and it kinda grounds him ig? Kiba is just someone who’ll always be there to be his friend and so Naruto gets a baby crush on him and Kiba is like sunshine oblivious.
Anyways aside from ship material Kiba is just super lovable and fun but he also has that ‘despite his boyish determined recklessness he can be mature’ which I admire in characters. Idk naruto is kinda… unrelatable i mean i love him but i don’t think I could search the entire world looking for someone who betrayed the people I care abt yknow?
It’s why I like Kiba centric fics—have y’all read akatsuki!Kiba by blackkat? So so good. He’s just has a maturity about him which makes his determined and reckless actions all the more fun to read.
I love kiba so much he’s so underrated read kiba fics yall!!
I HAVE SUCH BAD BRAIN ROT
SAVE MEEEE
i have a million and ten fanfic ideas
i'm losing it
been awake for 10 minutes and i'm already writing
Okay im gonna talk abt writing stuff bc it’s been too long since I’ve rambled
So with writing fics I generally find myself sticking to one principle—an awesome hook/a really fun first chapter.
By all means my writing isn’t the crème de la crème my stories bring tears to people’s eyes because it’s just that good—but what I mean is I find fics to be more appealing when you snap to something you’d like to see a lot of (you do not have to agree with me).
I usually have something where there is a lot of fun dialogue and reactions and action because it’s just what I like to see personally in a story.
I also love when an author pulls the reader straight into the angst before sweeping off to drag it out like youre dipping your toes in a pool.
It’s just something to get you interested in what’s to come because you wanna see more of it right?
Of course when the chapters go on I’ll slow down with just doing what I think is funny to some of the buildup for the more serious scenes (I still like writing those) but it really gets the ball rolling and sets up a story for readers to be excited for!
What I’m getting at is boost of serotonin where you show the reader something they might like is always great! I agree that a story should get a good set up as they work their way through the plot but I also think that the beginning few chapters are an awesome way to show what there will be more of in the story without having to wait a while.
Plus as an author i dunno if it’s just me but having to write the chapters for build up/moving the story along in a satisfying way inbetween the action fun chapters is a bit boring so just writing a chapter that makes you really excited in the beginning is a good way to push through coasting on that initial feeling for the next chapters.
