Summer Writing Goals

As encouraged by @the-wip-project, these are my (short-term) goals

Write at least 30 minutes at least 3-4 days per week Join at least one SUAW session per week Participate in at least two WIP Wednesdays or Snippet Sundays

I have several WIPs, my plan is to get at least one chapter or section done by the end of June to share

Soft goals, as my schedule is a bit different over the summertime. I also have an inservice to put together and present in June

Before I go to bed, here is my tentative outline of oneshots I have planned as I work back up to the complexity of TRT (lots of things to keep track of + we're literally on the cusp of a massive fucking angst arc where a ton of shit is gonna go down = a bit harder to write).

So, our schedule:

Fluffy Bob Reynolds x Reader fic: when you and Bob figure out he sleeps better with you around, you quickly become his comfort object in bed. And you fucking love it.

Smutty Bob Reynolds x Reader fic: You tug on Bob's hair for the first time while making out and get... quite the reaction.

Angsty Matt Murdock x Neurodivergent!Reader fic: you've always thought of yourself as too much. Matt makes you feel loved instead. At least until there's a miscommunication, a misunderstanding, that leaves you hurt and Matt desperate to make up for it... hopefully without losing you entirely.

Fluffy (with smut) Rhett Abbott x Reader: Rhett saves a scrawny little runt of a calf he's convinced could be a champion rodeo bull. And, well, you've always promised you'd support him, even if the poor thing looks more likely to keel over in a strong breeze.

Fluff/Humor Matt Murdock x TRT!Reader: You decide to try out a menstrual disc so you can have sex with Matt without the mess during your period. All goes well until you go to remove it afterwards. 15 minutes of shower yoga and swearing later, you have to call for backup.

Angsty Bob Reynolds x Reader fic I'm still working the details out on - potentially a couple chapters long

Than chapter 18 will be Maria finding out and everything and at the end of that one it will show Spencer waking up in a cell and figuring out everything yk

My wonderful friend has encouraged me to get back into writing by hand, and so I spent today out on a walk, cup of tea in the sun, working through my master plan for my VelKleya fic.

If you’ve been reading Her Kind so far, just know that is now part one of a trilogy. I’ll be updating the tags etc as I go back and edit. My intention has always been to do a deep character study on Kleya and Vel individually and richly explore their relationship. In order to do this I’ve broken up the story beats into arcs.

Forgive my rough handwriting, it’s not the prettiest, but for those interested in where inspiration for each part’s title has come from etc, feast your eyes below:

I’m really excited to continue on this slow burn journey with you all. I have so much outlined and planned, including 90% of the main emotional story beats. I also have started writing ahead, and have worked on some scenes that come much later.

My main focus for now is to finish up Her Kind which will cover Yavin> 1ABY where we focus on Kleya and Vel’s evolution from adversaries>reluctant companions>friends.

Part two will be where their relationship expands—hence the need for tag updates.

I hope most of you will still be interested in coming along for each step of the journey, but if deep exploration isn’t your thing and you’re just looking for the romance aspect, I fully understand you unsubscribing and perhaps returning once the trilogy is complete.

That said—no,I won’t be rushed. And yes, I will finish it.

Kinktober 2025 Update:

Pretty much my plans for anything kinktober/fanfic related given October is pretty much over !!

Hey yall.... look I DIDNT forget about the fics! I promise!

I have been thinking SO HARD about the fics. The words just literally will not leave my brain, and idk why

I am planning on starting kinktober prompts back up in the month of November, and hopefully that gives me enough time to get my life together enough to finish a few fics/requests!

ANYWAY: Screw No Nut November, I say Non-stop Nut November is here and nobody can stop it

I am going to do something like this every month, where I release a sort of plan for the month of what fics I am going to (maybe) write, and what the month will look like!
