And I don't know percy jackson or tsoa, so next is "Peter and six end up in gotham with too much truama (peter parker)"

QUESTIONS. whhooo are the six? Hopefully not the sinister six because then his ass would DIE. Who are the SIX, this is important!! Are there any plans for this? Like are you putting Peter in Gotham to interact with the Bats, or making him survive in a harsh city for some character introspection? questions questions questions

Soooo, this one actually is like so strongly in the wip stage that not even the foundation has been laid yet. Literally, the cement has not dried. Funny enough, no the six are not the sinister six but actually depending on (who I decide will fit the plot more) are gonna be known Peter parker friends from comics and other media.

Some contendors are Ned, Johnny, Kamala, Felicia, Ben and Kaine. Ned, is pretty much a guarantee, and I definetly want to keep Ben and Kaine for angsty plot reasons, but the rest I'm debating. I'm not keeping Wade or MJ as much I love them because I know, I fucking KNOW I will give them ALL of the screen time and I don't want that. The other three I am still debating over.

This fic IS taking inspiration from Former Heroes (Who Quit Too Late) so some aesthetic and vibes of that will bleed in here. I'm also very much taking inspiration from this one poem On My First Daughter and the song Doomsday by Lizzie McAlpine cause they literally make me SCREAM cause it perfectly captures the essence of this fic.

So as is the tendency with me, there IS gonna be a lot of Character Introspection but like the main Batfam might take a backseat to the major plot. I want them to play a less encouraging and a more antagonistic role, despite being well meaning. So yep, the secind option you suggested might be the one I go with. I don't know what I want the plot to be yet, so it's all just vibessss. But it is gonna be VERY peter-centric duhh

Ok, assuming they haven't been asked about, PLEASE tell me about "Ben and Frank are friends blame Peter (The punisher+ Marvel)"

Like how did they meet? Does their relationship prevent Ben from dying? Or does he die and Frank steps up as parent to Peter? Does Ben know that Frank kills people, or does Frank not do that at all?

I should specify that this fic is still very much limited to the sandbox of my head. I'm like a little toddler who's building all sorts of sand castles with it. This fic haunts my 3 am thoughts. I mean to be fair EVERY fic does, but this is special cause ooof I have had this in my head for YEARS. And somehow not written even NOTES about it.

And because of that i actually have three differents ways it could go. 1) For plot reasons I will not go into, Peter hires Frank. Frank completes the job, shows up at the address and stares down at a fucking nine year old. Peter is eleven thank you very much, oh you did the job? Cool sir, here's the payment. Frank is not about to take a nine year old's piggy bank, and he definetly has questions, with a capital Q. Frank starts babysitting this little insane gremlin child, and poof one day Ben comes home early from work. And holy fucking hell is it a custody battle. Peter's eating popcorn as he watches the show

2) This one is angstier, Peter tracks down Frank and BEGS him to kill someone for him please. Here's an envelope full of cash that this kid got by selling his dead mother's jewelery. Frank who is being sought after by feds and these annoying lawyers he wants nothing to do with, and has very VERY freshly lost his whole family stares this kid down and decides, well sure he'll take up the job. But he doesn't want the money, how about the kid pay him back by babysitting his dog? And Peter's like yeah sure, misunderstands what Frank means and takes the dog home. Ben, who's wrapped up in his own grief and guilt but wants Peter to at least heal, sees him come home with a dog and decides okay I can't afford this but okay let him keep it. Frank completes the job, and tracks down the kid who stole his dog. Ben greets him, does not realise who this guy is but like HELL is he taking away the only thing keeping his nephew sane right now. Frank loses the glare down and the kid's water works and Max's new love for child shaped cuddles. There is shared custody over the dog now

3) Frank gets a call from an old contact. It's pretty simple, his old buddy Ben offed someone and would Frank mind helping him bury the body? No, Frank would not mind he's the punisher after all. But Ben Parker, BEN PARKER murdered someone?? Impossible. He shows up to Ben's house two days after burying the body that never existed, spots Peter and decides well fuck I now gotta help my apparently insane friend raise a kid. Peter's very happy with his two gay uncles (they are not gay, Peter. Sure, Uncle Ben) because at least his Uncle Ben is moving on, but he also is shit scared cause OMG what if the punisher gigures out he's SPIDER-MAN??

There's a lot more scenarios but these threr have layered plot already constructed. I hope that answers your questions hehe

Guyzzz it's like late as shit and im tired but i had a thought. I don't think Callum unlocks a new arcanum through dark magic. Let me try explaining tye best i can with my sleep deprived brain. What has been common everytime Callum unlovked a new arcanum so far? He gains a new realisation about himself each time. This allows him to understabd the arcanum and connect to it.

Think about it. How many times do we gain a new realistaion that allows us to apply ourselves in our life better? I think the same is true for Callum reagarding learning a new arcanum.

But (yes there is a but) I don't think thr dark magic is a complete red herring. I think that Callum believes he needs dark magic to unlock any arcanum. I think he's put together the same logic the rest of the fandom has. I mean there has been a pattern it must be true. He is ignoring his own mental autonomy in this logic, the same way we have.

And i think Aravos may take advantage of that

Just read chapter 5 of do not confess au. Was NOT expecting the Sally and Percy angst. It's super interesting how believable it feels that their relationship is fracturing and flawed. But it seems that's mostly due to the Achilles Curse, do you have something planned with that? And when are my fav mom-son duo gonna get along again??

Hey thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying the fic so far. But tbh Percy and Sally's relationship arc is gonna take a back seat for the time being. Consider Chapter 5 as a temporary end to their arc, because Sally isn't going to be playing a major role within the fic. With the way i have the plot planned, she won't even be making an appearance for a good long while. So sorry, to dissapoint their relationship isn't healing for some time.

The Achilees Curse however will continue to play a bit of a stronger role into the plot. I can't say what, because i do not want to give spoilers. But we still have one or two chapters (maybe even 3) where the Curse plays an important role in Percy and Annabeth's individual character arcs. I do plan on keeping most things close to canon events, but we'll see. Right now, I'm back to the literal drawing board as I fine tune everything.

(Hint: even when the Achilles Curse arc ends, it's not done being relevant to the plot :) the curse fascinates me and it will rear its head in my writing)
