To have loved and lost - But you never lose the love you give. The love you gave is forever stored in the banks of memories of those you gave your love to.
Love is infinite. You only ever give. You give love and give love endlessly - genuine care, affection, notion, worry - material or immaterial. The love you give is whatever form you wish it be. What's lost only is the opportunity to love the entity you lost - a lover, an object maybe, a companion, a relative, a parent, a sibling, anyone or any thing that ever mattered to you - either by circumstance or by their passing. You never lose by loving. You only either keep loving or find others to give your love to. Never think love dies. It doesn't. Only people, and sometimes even places, do.
Love in its simplest and purest form - devoid of returns, reciprocation, economies, scales, materialization, or selfish understanding - transcends time, life, lifetimes, timelines, forms, formations, reasons, sometimes sound reasoning, hope and logic, and that that love is built on the very foundation of only wanting to let others feel, to be loved, to be given to and simply nothing more. Loving is me. Loving is you. Love is giving. To love is to give.
